This seems pretty intense for a Pokemon game, holy shit!

In Sea Mauville, one of the rooms apparently used to belong to Professor Cozmo’s father; you know, that scientist who got the meteorite stolen from him? There are a series of letters and photos that a much younger Cozmo sent to his father (this is the fifth one, there are seven in all). Apparently, Cozmo’s parents had a very strained relationship due to his father’s workaholic tendencies and the fact that he barely ever visited them, leaving his wife to raise their son by herself. But, like most children do, Cozmo believes that he’s the cause of their fighting and promises to be a good boy. All of his letters also mention his love of stargazing and his dream of becoming a professor who studies the stars (which we know comes true).
