One of those AU's where Izuku gets Fa Jin first before the main stockpile power of One for All except Bruce adopts gets along with Izuku way sooner
Of course Bruce has his doubts about Izuku but begins to grow fond of him when he realizes how smart Izuku actually is and isn't as naive as Bruce once thought.
But then when Bruce learns of Izuku's love of quirks and analysis of them, similar to Toshinori, Bruce sees a younger version of himself in Izuku.
He remembers when he used to do his own research on how quirks, or meta abilities in his day, worked. How late he used to stay up to try and crack the code when he didn't have martial art practice the next day. How much theories he would come up with and was itching to test out (away from prying eyes)
Bruce had forgotten. He forgot how...fun it was, that small time of bliss.
And that's what causes Bruce to open up a bit to Izuku and in turn, Izuku gets a fellow quirk nerd to ramble with.

So now he suddenly hugs everyone just to see their reactions, bc that fulfills him more than the act of hugging.
Tight hugs for Ochako, squeezing her cheeks; hugs that lift Tsuyu off the ground until she’s standing on tiptoes. Iida stands there frozen and blushing. Izuku keeps crying with every hug. Hugs from behind for Bakugo while he growls. Kirishima always hugs him back even tighter, and Sero holds him a little longer, as if he doesn’t want to let him go.
Shoto still doesn’t show much affection, but he definitely loves his friends’ hugs. 💙

I'm working on a fanfic centered on Bruce and everything that happened during the two months the three of them spent together after Yoichi was rescued (two months! WTF)
I love Bruce, the little we’ve seen of his personality has me head over heels, which is why… he’s going to suffer! I’m sorry, my love.
I’m totally hooked on these three. I think Kudo and Yoichi’s relationship is so beautiful, but when you add Bruce to the equation, it’s just delicious.
I wish we had more of them (A fucking spin-off, Hori, do your thing!)
I know this isn’t something a lot of people are going to read, not just because the ship isn’t very popular, plus it’s a trio, and it’ll be a long-fic (not too long, I think); it’s also because there’s going to be a lot of angst, and well, the ending won’t be happy if I want to stick to the canon (bittersweet, maybe?). But even so, I really want to write it!
I might post a little more here while I'm working on it (notes and things I'm discovering as I research the canon), as well as any updates I make.
It's been a long time since I've written a long fic, so I hope I can pull it off and finish it. YAAY!!
