Sometimes I allow myself to pretend that I’m already who I’m gonna be. Sometimes I feel the smirk of a deviant rising like a moon over the corners of my mouth. I step into her walk. I use her tongue. I make her demands in a voice that doesn’t shake or hesitate. Sometimes I pretend I am already the animal who gets what she wants. So I move in laughter. I move in allure. Welcoming what I know is coming. And it feels so good to be sure of it. For a moment, I see.
this, forever
