    silence is a friend, contrary to belief. those who cannot bear the monotonous stillness are weak.  soon, her eyes drifted to the pages as the conversation around her dull to a white haze.

           ❝ruin is such an extreme term.             tend to it more, it will sure              return the favor❞

          ❛ It’s getting too long, I fear. I would like to grow it out further, but it’d simply be a hindrance. ❜

             ❝such a lovely hair. tis’ a              waste to cut it❞

          ❛ … I wonder if I should take to trimming my hair. ❜                            & fingers curl faded ends ‘round to examine, brows knitted.
