indigo!

my first digital portrait. it's not exactly completed, but i'm done working on it. it took me like an hour or so yesterday. i mainly used a screenie from this post (pic #3) as my ref, but also i used my heart

to me, she looks kinda young in this, but i don't want to put an age... but i would say this is during her 20s, possibly after she left solstheim. so maybe, like, 24-28 or so.

she has a couple scars on her face in-game, which i didn't include. i've never thought about how she even got the scar, or when, so i'll do another portrait of her with it at an older age.

her appearance is obviously very heavily inspired by the targaryen/valyrian look (book-wise, at least). (and her name as well, which is just the name hela (norse goddess) with an 'a' added, just for a visual effect.) based off my own personal headcanons, she physically resembles viserra and naerys (not specifically them, but i would say they're a fair comparison in my opinion). and regarding her personality parallels, i always thought of her as a blend of visenya, rhaena (daughter of alyssa and aenys), and rhaenyra. i always wanted her look to convey the vibe of "a targaryen who is a nord", like she's definitely a nord but there's something different going on, maybe something magical, something dragon-like. and hopefully i achieved that. she's also very tall and decently muscular, like many nords.
