This Spring, you're about to learn Biology in ways you never have before! The folks at Crash Course have let me bring my whole wacky personality to this project and it's totally synergizing with theirs! Ya'll know I love science communication! Since I was a little kid, I always had to have an answer for people when they'd ask "eww, why do you want to study insects"? And I really started having fun with it but I didn't think of explaining science stuff on YouTube until I saw the reach of the Vlog Bros Hank and John Green with their shows Crash Course and SciShow! Channels like there's (and ASAP Science and Kurzgesagt) inspired the Doctor Buggs show! So, I was pretty excited to get an email last year with the subject line "How Would You Like to Host Crash Course Biology"! I'm sure you can guess my answer! Lavender Graduation! It's the first of the 3 graduation ceremonies at which I'll be celebrating in the coming days! This one recognizes LGBTQ+ students at the University of Maryland who have made a positive impact on campus life! Congrats to everyone recognized today and thanks so much to the coolest administrator on the planet who braved a monsoon to get here and give me an awesome gift! Ok so we just made it to the mountain and we're on our way to meet The Honey Hunters!
