Your art is phenomenal! Especially your character designs and use of color. Would love to learn what resources you found helpful while learning if possible.
Thank You!
I don't know if I can give good answer to this question, I'm very curious so I usually want to see ALL the resources I can get and learn from every source that I'll find and then try it and decide if I want to use it/explore it further/ leave it. I think I did a little bit of everything at some point of my art journey: Concept art for games/ animation/ character design/ prop design/ backgrounds/ illustration/ painting/ animation. I even did some 3D animation at my first job. I learned from all the books I could find, youtube and online courses, artists I admire and all of it left a little mark on my art journey. If I would give any advice to my younger self It'll be training basic drawing skills well (solid sketching, perspective, drawing good volumes, boxes, cylinders etc.- let's say what Drawbox teaches, basics. Drawbox/artwod is a great resource in general). Gesture and understanding of anatomy are another crucial skills- I'll start with Proko/ Mike Mattesi/ Tom Fox/ Loomis.
In general it's good to follow the artists that really resonate with You- analyze their art, try to figure out what is so appealing about their style and how to make it work in Your art. How they approach anatomy, what is their shape language, how they use storytelling in their art. There's so many question to ask and so many things to learn from just studying other artists. Apart from learning basic drawing skills it's good to have some idols. Not to imitate them but to let their style influence You.
I feel that my style had changed during the years because I was following different artists. Disney animators were always a huge inspiration for me. At some point I was also learning animation from Don Bluth and his way of sketching and storyteling inspired me a lot. Another big influences were MorednDayJames and Rad Sechrist; I took their classes on gesture and character drawing. Find something that inspires You and get a bit obsessed with it
About use of color- I have a complicated relationship with color lol. At one point of my life I was really into paiting and some of those skills stayed with me, but I never prioritized color in my art, I think mostly in lines. But it's a very similar approach to drawing- learn basics. Explore. Find some stuff You like to look at and think what makes it so nice to look at. Apply to Your art. Make a lot of shitty drawings and have fun.
I hope it helps! Thank You very much for asking!
I always struggled with drawing them because how are they built??

Share some names of the mods? The game looks amazing
Some names? Let me share all of them! Let's appreciate the amazing Morrowind modding community this way. Plus different mods are important for different people; I noticed that I'm more influenced by an interesting sound design than nice graphics. I used to play vanilla morrowind with some sound overhauls and I was super happy how atmoshperic it was. We started modding with essentials: Code Patch, MGE and added Tamriel Data and Tamriel rebuilt on top (I never tried TR and I'm super excited for it!). Then I installed Mod Organiser. What an amazing tool. It basically install mods straight from nexus. As someone who used to manually mod morrowind by putting files in proper folders and look for "that one file that's breaking the game" I'm in awe.
So, the mod list itself. IMMERSION MODS:
Graphic Herbalism

Weather Adjuster (Amazing colors)
Ctroost's Weather Adjuster Presets (and add this one on top)

Little life update as I'm not posting a lot. Pastwiska is my little creative outlet for personal art (morrowind art mostly haha) but lots of my creative fuel goes to my work/gigs and classes. At least I can show some stuff from courses I took this year. I joined the Animation Club School class to polish up my skills and consolidate basics aaand... It's such a great course and community! I had lots of fun working on assignments and getting feedback. 100% reccommend.
And I added some anatomy studies to the mix. Never enough of those.
One cool thing I want to share is that I'm going to Annecy festival this year for a premiere of a movie I was working on! It's "Born in the jungle", I was drawing reference animation for the characters, refining their acting etc before it was animated in the final software. It was amazing experience.
After having my PC cleaned I reinstalled Morrowind and properly modded it with huge help from awesome Rayhe. I don't think my Morrowind looked that good in years.
Finally gonna try Tamriel Rebuilt, have some visual inspiration for drawing and probably write a more factual life update tomorrow haha.
Good news is I finally started to board and design new comic pages, bad news is I have to make more time to actually draw them
Here are some sketchbook thumbnails and exploration
