Hey people that I have blocked I'm an old man I drink 7 beers a day keep out of my lawn. Yes be scared of me too
Reminder that if I block someone is because I don't want to interact with them or see what they post. No it's not a personal attack, if you want to see my stuff I am 100% agreeing with you making an acc to block evade, as long as I don't have to hear from you. If you really enjoy what I do please respect the boundary of not ruining my days, take an extra step and think that I am someone who has other stuff to worry aside from internet interactions with absolute strangers.
I assure you that what I'm saying here also applies to a bunch of other artists and bloggers on this platform.
By keeping this in mind you're doing a favour to yourself and everybody else as well.
The reality is that I actually have to think about stylization
And oh my god, Bertie is so ugly, but I can't get over how adorable he is and how much he looks like a rat now.......
He doesn't really look like TV Bertie, but honestly, this is pretty much how I picture him in the book. He's naive, a little sly in that rat-like way, constantly stepping on his own tail, kind-looking, and just as straightforward as a rat would be
Like. Literally
I think I captured him really well based on the vibes in my head hahaha
I post very little here because Iâm busy. If anyone just wants a bit more of my doodles, you can follow me on Telegram. Thatâs, however, the only social media Iâm active onâŚ.

Iâve decided to slowly start translating my scribbles after all

I thought it wouldâve been fun if the ending showed human Aziraphale writing a book while Crowley calls it sentimental nonsense. Itâd leave the question open: was Good Omens just their story, or was their human life what came after everything collapsed
I really like that in my version of the ending, Aziraphale basically ends up writing this silly novel about himself and Crowley as an angel and a demon.
Crowley would absolutely wrinkle his nose at it like "how do you even come up with a plot like this?" - mostly because the annoying truth underneath it all is that he does love Aziraphale, and now itâs just⌠sitting there on the pages of a book. Ugh.
But I love the way it feels kind of soft and tingly. Like itâs both a continuation of their story and a fictional retelling of it at the same time. The book turns into this weird form of memory you canât actually verify anymore.
You could even make a funny bit out of it - like maybe the book gets published and literally no one buys a single copy.
In my head thereâs this silly scene where the camera slowly zooms into a bookshelf with that book on it, and then some random hand (Neil/Terry as a reader/guide figure) pulls it out. And maybe thatâs how Good Omens ends up existing as a story too - filtered through someone elseâs interpretation of what Aziraphale and Crowley wrote, lmao. It just gives me those same whimsical vibes.

S P O I L E R S
I slept, woke up, and my brain cleared up a little.
Hereâs what I want to say. The concept of the ending is valid, because they basically have two options available to them: either remain within their roles and keep their miracles, since without them theyâre incapable of functioning, or take on some other form in order to free themselves from dependence on their very nature, which imposes limitations on them. And if they choose the second option, their memories would inevitably get fucked up. As humans, they simply wouldnât be capable of containing the memory of who they used to be, because, well, they would be human. A human mind isnât as vast as that of a supernatural being. And besides, if they remembered their previous existence, they probably wouldnât even be able to survive in human bodies out of sheer habit of ignoring physical needs.
But even under those circumstances, it still wouldâve worked better if their "earthly past" wasnât explicitly spelled out - like they themselves only vaguely and sluggishly realize that theyâve seen each other somewhere before, but canât for the life of them remember where. You know that kind of TV format where characters just sort of⌠donât age, and the show simply follows their everyday lives? That wouldâve made sense here. Not literal immortality, but that sort of sitcom-style disregard for time.
Again, the concept of the ending itself is acceptable. But the way that concept was executed is complete garbage. Because itâs drama for the sake of drama, angst for the sake of angst. Good Omens, despite the weight of the themes it deals with, never stops being a comedy rather than a soap opera. And even the whole "becoming human" idea desperately lacked a more direct, lighthearted perspective instead of this suffocating sentimentality of "and then they fell in love at first sight".
Thatâs the problem with how everything ended up getting butchered - there was no room left for any lightness at all. The movie feels heavy, dense, unpleasant; thereâs not even a safe way to approach it without getting pricked by something. Because in trying to "please the fans", the writers basically staged a clown parade where they crammed absolutely everything possible into a format that couldnât support it. And itâs not even about the limited runtime - itâs that these people have absolutely no idea how to work with this material or how to preserve tonal balance. They donât know what can be sacrificed or changed.
Because they arenât the authors of the story. And in the film, I canât feel either Gaimanâs voice or Pratchettâs.
