Breaking into your friend's room by opening his door is clearly not enough to execute your appearance, it's also quick roll. Even through all of that, he still kept the present in his hand safe; a mug that would change from stars to constellations if heated and a small cake in the shape of a guinea pig, scarily detailed fur that almost made it realistic made from his own hands. Oh, and a signed autograph of a picture of him, "Happy birthday, Craig. I'll make you smile someday, just wait."
"...?” Well, what did he have here. Those gifts on his bed were definitely not there when he’d left that morning. Craig glanced around his room like he’d find the culprit, then scrunched up his nose over how stupid he felt doing that. Like they’d still be hiding. Actually, considering WHO his friends here, Craig did a sweep over his room. Closet clear. Under his bed clear. Alright, looked like no one was around unless they’d somehow gained the art of turning invisible.
With that settled he went to actually inspect the gifts, eyes immediately drawn to the cake. That alone gave him an inkling of who it was. “Christ that’s a lot of frosting.” His teeth already hurt just from looking at it, but he had to admit he was curious about it’s flavor. The mug was a sweet addition to the three other star themed ones he had, but he wasn’t going to complain. His interests were simple, making him pretty easy to shop for.
And then he got to the picture. “Yup. Knew it.” God Clyde was an idiot. Did he just have signed pictures of himself hanging around? It wouldn’t surprise Craig. He shook his head, rolling his eyes a bit, and gathered the gifts up in his hands to slip into the kitchen where the light was better before everyone got home.
Some ten minutes later and Clyde got a text of Craig with the gifts, sunglasses on his face, the cake, stripe, and the now framed picture of his idiot friend. ‘thanks man.’
