“So uh… how exactly did you get stuck on Pandora?”

and by that i mean combat role.

now this is entirely biased from my own playthroughs of timmy (having invested points in hero of this story and free enterprise) but i can definitely see that he is geared towards a type of gameplay. which is, ironically enough, being very aggressive.

the holo-jacks allow him to put pressure on the enemies and he can easily flank any opposition taking advantage of cover. it also means his place in combat will typically be on the front lines- drawing enemy fire and keeping them harassed. this way, his allies can catch a breath while the enemies absolutely can’t. paired up, timothy can work very well with athena, the gladiator protecting the real jack while the others draw enemy fire into her shield. the laser blasts from the doubles whittle down the hostiles so they can be put down once and for all by aspis. additionally, he would work well with nisha- keeping the enemies frantic and distracted so she can easily put a bullet straight through their heads. if timmy and wilhelm deploy their respective reinforcements, it basically means the enemy has no hope to predict where any attack will come from; flanked by holo-copies and bombarded by a attack drone. it wouldn’t be the BEST idea to have him pair up with claptrap or aurelia since his skills wouldn’t benefit them as well as the others- but it wouldn’t be disastrous in any sense.  i mean besides claptrap being claptrap.

now even though skill trees have no place in the world of role-playing, i do have some personal headcanons as to which abilities timmy has. under the cut, cuz it’s kinda long.

She’d always had a bit of a soft spot for the doppelgänger. 

“I’ll explain later,” her voice came out as a hiss, even in spite of the smirk twisting across her lips. Amused as she might have been at his reaction, now certainly wasn’t the time to let her guard down. Given their proximity to one another, and the fact that she stuck out like a sore, red thumb, they were at the highest point of risk. Just as she had no doubt about the identity of her friend, she knew there was no question of how the workers would react to her presence. 

Her hand drifted to her side once more, checking the small device against her thigh before readying itself against the pistol strapped down there.

“Move your ass, Jack.” She scanned the area again, making note of each area a target could hide behind. Each empty alcove she spotted would serve as a potential vantage point, should anything go south.

It meant the chances of anyone seeing Athena were VERY low.

“Yeah, I’m just- it’s close, don’t worry.”

Why are you here? Are you going to kill me? Are you going to kill Jack? Athena’s presence demanded even more questions, but she swore she’d explain later. Which was probably a good idea considering that the possibility of audio surveillance was very real (the cameras weren’t set up yet). 

The entrance required clearance, but not of the ahhhh- biometric persuasion. He would simply be able to input his executive code and they’d be able to get in.

@ceoatlast: I shouldn’t have to talk about him, but Weasel is probably the reason I stuck with roleplaying. He first talked to me on his Sufferer roleplay blog and was really sweet from the get-go. It took us a year to really talk ooc but???? Honestly I wouldn’t be here if not for him.

@trolljacksparrow: EMM! To be honest I almost forgot Emm which is a fucking travesty because she has been such a positive influence in my life. To be honest she’s more like my little sister than my actual sisters and I honestly shed a tear every now and again over how much she’s grown up.

Anyways she’s super beautiful and fabulous and she is always there for me. 10/10 would recommend.

@dxhlcommando​: Jame is life. Jame is beautiful. We first started talking on my Carol Maclaine blog and they were always really fun to talk with. They had really great ideas to write with and were always so eager about my posts and writing? I was new to the horror rp fandom and had heard horror (hah) stories about the Silent Hill fandom, but instead of being chased out I became an honorary Loud Mountain member. 

If ever there was a blog I was perfectly happy on, it was Carol. And Jame made that possible. I’m stoked to be in the same fandom as them again. 

@deviloutofhell: Sly also came from this period of time, and I’m incredibly lucky to have met him. He’s an incredible writer that puts a huge amount of time into his characters. And he’s always been good to me. He never fails to put a smile on my face and he’s been there for me more times than I can remember.

@leaddybox​: Is literally always there to lend an ear. Is super creative with rp. Has really great fucking art? 

I love leaddy my god. I was so hesitant to follow her at first and I dont’ remember why because she’s always been sweet and understanding. She’s another one of those people that I’m really proud to have seen grow. 

@charybdiis​: I honestly don’t remember how we started talking???? I know I loved your Angel and I went running to Carrie when you made her but I’m not sure when we really connected. It feels like you’ve always been there. You’re always really wonderful to talk to and your OC is so well thought out and unique. 

@apairofjacks​: I went through a lot of rough patches after everything happened with my Athena blog. One person that never turned their back on me was this guy right here. I think it’s been a solid year since I was 100% comfortable on Athena, but I swear he hasn’t stopped encouraging me. He’s the reason I’m toeing the water on my Athena and the reason I want to get back into her. But also he’s been really supportive with other stuff and he’s just???? really great to have around.
