I feel bad for not being around, but since I'm now living on my own and working a lot, it's really hard to update. At least my love got a new mouse so we can play Age of Empires together again!

Never forget about animals and fish! Foraging and farming may be the most popular methods of food gathering, but an observant player will capitalize on the deer, boar, and fish (if applicable) that they start off near. Hunting can bring in lots of food at once, and fishing ships can build fish traps!

Helpful Tip: When preparing a multiplayer game, try to coordinate with your friends as to which civilizations you will play as. Take team and civilization bonuses into account, because some combinations can be extremely effective (and deadly)!

White knights don't affect me, because I have an attack bonus against cavalry!

Currently playing a custom campaign I downloaded off the Steam Workshop, and it's absolutely awesome!

Historical Fact: Charles Martel defeated Moslem invaders by ordering his knights to dismount and join the infantry in creating a shield wall that repelled the light arrows and weapons of the Moslem soldiers.
