Catching up on my backlog reads on Gobslay Year One manga... and to my surprise, we ended up finding out that the Spearman's magical spear was actually a custom-made weapon that was originally made for Female Warrior, though she ended up not using it.
Which was pretty cool to be honest - since I didn't expect to find out that the characters in the main series had yet another connection to the group from Dai-Katana. And hey.... I never thought I'd be able to see a more direct mention of the Captain in the main GobSlay story XD Also cool that the Blacksmith from the western frontier also used to open shop at that fort city facing the Dungeon of the Dead.
That made me wanna resume reading Dai-Katana, like my last read had been around the point where the Captain was looking for some magic swords...
