Out of everything that I've learned throughout this course, I like that the content I learned can be applied to my future career. As a future teacher, I will need to adjust my audience when writing depending on if I am writing to parents, colleagues, administrators, or children. Completing an audience analysis for each project in this course has helped me understand who my audience is and how I should effectively communicate with them.

Personally, this process works really well for me and I'm proud of how I use it to do my best on assignments!

One of my absolute favorite TV shows is New Girl. I just know that if New Girl had been canceled within the first few seasons I would have been enraged. One of the things that I would've been upset about would be not knowing whether or not Nick and Jess ever ended up together. I also would've been upset because I wouldn't be able to see my favorite characters accomplish the things that they did or grow into the mature adults that they during the last season- I truly would've missed out on so much!

My favorite show is Friends. I did not watch it while it was airing on tv, but I have watched every episode multiple times on streaming services. Friends helps me work through this project and understand angry fandom because I can think about how fans would react if this show would've been cancelled. There are many different plot lines that involve relationships that if it would've been cancelled during any season, fans would be angry and upset that they wouldn't know what happened next.

I am a HUGE fan of Julie and the Phantoms. This show was my everything during quarantine. Unfortunately, Netflix SUCKS and canceled it after one season. THE SEASON ENDED ON A CLIFFHANGER!!!! I will truly never get over this (unless someone picks it up and reboots it). There's been some suspicious behavior from the cast and from director Kenny Ortega (KING!) lately so fingers crossed it gets picked up somewhere for another season...

While the genre of sports is not exactly a TV show, it is great for developing an understanding of angry fandom. This is mainly due to the fact that there will always be angry fandom displayed anytime a game is played. One team/organization has to lose which means that at least one group of fans will be disappointed. Additionally, fans have a very strong connection to these teams/organizations because of location and their long history across decades. This creates the opportunity for extreme and unique angry fandom that improves our understanding of what it may look like.

Audiences listen to long podcasts because they are a form of media that is convenient while multitasking. Personally, I have listened to long podcasts when I'm in the car and I don't feel like listening to music or if I'm doing things around the house. Podcast creators select what kind of topics their audience would be interested in listening to that would maintain their attention. They also might invite guests onto the podcast to add something different to the usual content that they create, which could be intriguing to the audience.
