Anxious Pen

I am going to buy

a bottle of champagne

as a sign of better days to come

The Devil's death is on the horizon

I will buy champagne

Will we

end up like them?

Will we

need to #stock up on rations?

Will we

be bombed

out of our homes?

Will we

be allowed

to watch our

children grow up?

Will we

brush the glass

out of our niece's

hair

because

her mother

was buried last week?

children

had

the #chance

to grow up.

States can choose

their side,

but women

must obey.

It's a disgrace

the land of the free

guards a bundle of cells

in a host body,

but refuses to protect
