I'm hyperfixating on Danny Phantom again but I'm not as involved in the fandom as I want to be :(

I (14M) half-died recently (basically I died 'wrong' and now I'm still half alive) and since then I've been able to interact with other fully-dead people as ghosts. These ghosts are really annoying and keep flying in my town and in my school. Sometimes they even cause trouble and throw a tantrum over small things like menu changes or like if they're in a fight with their ghost girlfriend they'll try to start some shit in my town, so I've decided to beat them up for it.

Yeah sure violents is wrong but they're they harass people and they'll even possess objects and steal them because they think it's funny. So I'm trying to help to defend everyone but because there are so many ghosts I have to beat up now, my grades have started to slip and now my teachers are worried about me and my vice principal told my parents that I'm failing. Everyone's pissed at me. My parents and sister are all really smart and none of them have hobbies outside of their work so they got mad and now I'm grounded.

Nobody knows that I'm half-dead or that I beat up ghosts, and they all think I'm lazy and just want me to try more at school. But if I do that then all these ghosts will keep harassing people!

AITA for focusing on beating up ghosts more than school?

Edit: As I said in the post, my parents don't know that I'm half-dead. No, I'm not going to tell them so stop suggesting it! I have a form that looks fully human, and I have a form that looks fully ghost and I can switch between them.

weird AU thought: what if Danny was a normal ghost and was one of the one-time episodic ghost villains ????  (while another character like Valerie is the main character who does the ghost hunting)

think about it, a superhero ghost totally fits with those oddly-specific tropes that all the ghost antagonists have. He goes around town doing “heroic deeds” and grows more powerful by winning the love of Amity Park

sure it’s AU where danny’s character is completely flanderized and he only gets like two major appearances in the show, but it’s an AU where danny is comical and overconfident instead of angsty and depressed like all y’all try to make him be
