Things that make me happy are:

My cat being stupid and silly and adorable (which is like constantly)

Nailing that one epic sounding sentence in a paper that demands a mic drop

Being so fast at work that the guest doesn’t even know I’ve finished their return halfway through their explanation of the item

Sitting next to my Dad while we chill and watch TV and saying such stupid stuff that my sides end up hurting from laughing so much

Explaining concepts to people and broadening their view of the world by just a little

oke...this is now the third time I am trying 100 days of productivity. I am actually going to try and do it well or just do it at all lol.

So I have an exam tomorrow on health and clinical psychology which should be interesting. It’s multiple choice which is good because the answers remind you of the content buuuuut there is just way too much room for self doubt. ah well.

i’m not a big breakfast person (i know, “most important meal of the day” blah blah…) but i would say a little bit of fruit or vegetables. i also really like plain oatmeal

i’ve actually never posted on instagram, i just made an account a few months ago but i barely go on there (i’m a loser i know)

- What’s your dream career?

i’d like to go to medical school and become a psychiatrist, a neurologist, or maybe a brain surgeon. psychiatrist is number 1 tho

- Favourite animal?

pigs. (but i have 2 cats since i live in the city)

fall. although i live in canada, so fall here sucks

usually with just a little milk or cream. sometimes black

No otherwise I would never do any work haha - I can’t just watch one episode

Nah, we had to get our own lunches when I was in school and I’m self catered in Uni

Someone who is kind and is able to listen - willing to communicate - has some sort of direction/ambition in life - someone who has a passion for something no matter what it is - also someone funny or who at least I find funny even if others don’t - someone who is not afraid to keep trying - I don’t know dude, someone who is right for me, they don’t have to be perfect.

11) Own rainboots?

No but I would love to - also wouldn’t mind a cool raincoat like a funky yellow one

Literally two months since my last post but it was summer and I was away and there is really no excuse but I am so ready for uni in a month.

Oh but now I have to actually read the book I said I read in my personal statement so there’s that and no, I do not iron my duvet covers...I’m sorry if that offends you.

when you accept that you are malleable and ever-changing, you will be less resistant to new ways of thinking and being and you will grow into the beautiful person you are meant to become.

resist the urge to remain stagnant. there are always things to learn about the world and yourself. let yourself learn them.

set small goals for yourself! you don’t need to be fluent right away, or graduate with straight As. it’s way better to have smaller goals, like “get an A on this test” or “use memrise every day for a month” - it’s so important not to overwhelm yourself, which can harm your motivation a lot. same goes for having a (study) blog, just set yourself some small milestones, instead of having one huge aspiration that seems impossible to achieve.
