This is an acoustic version of a song I wrote for the Daryll-Ann album 'Spring' that was released in 2024. The song is called 'Time out' and it's a nice way to showcase my new/old Dobro guitar that was built in Chicago in 1939..

While in my homestudio, I decided to record a bit of what I was practicing. A beautiful Brian Wilson song. Even without the songs melody, the chord changes are so sweet..

My most recent asset: this Framus 5/114-54 ‘Fret Jet’ from '63. "Built in the heart of Bavaria". In Germany, that is. Beautifully restored by master luthier René Monsma in Brugge, Belgium. Here's a bit of sound, with the Framus played through a Fender Proreverb amp..
