If your conscience tells you to vote for Trump instead of Clinton because Sanders didn’t win, that’s you’re right. And if your conscience tells you to vote third party instead of Clinton because Sanders didn’t win, that’s your right, too. And of course it’s your right to abstain from voting entirely, if that’s really what your conscience is telling you to do because Sanders didn’t win.

But guess what? It’s also my right to judge the shit out of you and your conscience for not caring as much about the irreparable harm your not actually progressive choices could inflict on others as you do about the fact that a bird landing on Bernie’s podium didn’t actually make him the Democratic nominee.

Brand New Congress thinks so. Many working there are former Sanders campaign staffers, who are hoping to help elect Bernie Sanders-like candidates in at least 100 different districts in the next two years. Rachel Maddow described them as running a “presidential campaign with 400 heads.”

Their aim is to run one campaign for hundreds of candidates with centralized fundraising and organized campaigns across the country.
