Did a little #bodyshred this morning. I haven't done it since I taught it (awhile ago). I forgot how good of a workout it is! Plus it only take 26 minutes. I know I have talked about taking a break from lifting (mostly because I got bored). I have talked about overdoing it and feeling burnout. I started running at age 12. It was time to shift. Every couple years I like to switch things up and take new approaches. Because my ultimate goal is health, wellness and happiness. I admire athletes who push themselves for sport. Who will sacrifice there body and mind to accomplish goals. I am that type of person a lot of the time. But, sometimes we just need to explore the other side. To explore fitness from a different perspective. To set and accomplish new goals. To find out what we like again, what works for us at the particular space and time we are in. We need different things at different times. If you have the opportunity, freedom and ability to explore, you are blessed. Fitness is more about what you discover on the inside, then on the outside.
