Well, I admittedly don’t have many headcanons but I do have doodles!
Everyone is now legally required to draw lennabel in their countries traditional wedding dresses. No excuses get to work NOW I don’t care that its not pride anymore
I do have to admit making an au like this is hard. Resources for fashion on specific arab countries during specific periods is really hard to find, and choosing what country fits which character because so far all of these have been 100% vibes based, but I’ve settled for these I think!
Lenore: saudi arabian because a- we’re all lesbians b- it is the birthplace of the shittiest men on earth c-i’ve seen 3 documentaries on saudis running away from their homes, and what about that isn’t lenore enough for anyone
Annabel: shes from the UAE because in another life she would have loved being a landlord and dubai chocolate labubus
Pluto: I decided that he’s from the UAE too to go with annabel as they’re both british, but maybe he just grew up in the poorer areas and had to work his way into the more urban areas
Duke: in what world is the gay french magician not lebanese. He’s lebanese (and maybe half french for the hell of it) I don’t have to say anything. It would add to his character if luca was fully french and saw him as lesser I feel because of french invasion at the time
Morella: she’s syrian because she’s cute and I think theres a decent Christian population there. Issues arise as we consider the fact that she’s not from the UK, meaning that if she ever has a canon confrontation about the fact that annabel’s region literally went to war with Ireland then. I dont know. Can’t just make them all from the same place now can I (?)

Ada, monty and will are all egyptian. This is purely because I found it hilarious. I have considered making ada Algerian however.
Now we get to the troublesome questions:
-I dont know what to do with eula and bee. Eula needs to be mixed with a race that experienced racial prejudice, and bee doesn’t really ring a bell.
-Do I want to make every character a muslim? I wish I didn’t have to, but the issue is that arab culture is so deeply rooted in islamic values, you know? I want to make something that feels authentic and relatable but, hell I can’t even pick proper outfits for the female characters because back in the day women were completely covered!
Other than that tho. Uh. Yeah. Sorry for the long rant I doubt anyone cares about this sort of thing
