what she means: considering everything that’s happened to him and his siblings often thinking he’s just insane, klaus still remains so damn compassionate. even as a kid he was the one to console allison when she had gotten the umbrella academy logo tattooed on her and was crying even though he was also clearly in pain, he tried to dissuade luther from getting high and partying because he knows what it feels like and he thinks it’s ok for himself to stoop to that level just to numb himself of the pain but not luther the strong willed leader, was also the one to console luther in the moment when they found allison almost dead, he went all out to try and help five get what he wanted even if that meant physically hurting himself and helped five without question to try and save the world, he keeps ben around because despite him being a ghost klaus feels a little less alone with his brother and anytime he makes a sarcastic jab at ben he immediately diffuses the situation because he really does care for him, he insisted they let vanya free when they had her locked up probably because he knows exactly what it’s like being locked up against your will for something you can’t control, and he put himself in physical danger to save diego two times (sorry ben) and-
