I completely forgot that I ever made this character, but I feel like I had to do my younger self justice lol

Because it implies some great characterization for Pyro in multiple ways;

Pyro is self aware in some level, in the hallucination the axe is not replaced by anything, it's just a straight up axe

The violence we see from Pyro is not even the violence he /could/ use, even while the delusion of Pyro land, which implies that whatever that bear just went through was beyond the violence Pyro has exhibited BEFORE

As someone else pointed out, maybe Pyro IS unfazed by murder but it's not self aware of pyro vision, the absolute rage towards this bear just transformed into murder energy.

Mmmm maybe if the team worked in Australia instead of New Mexico?

Maybe someone’s on look out like “oh look a dingo. Oh look another one, must be a pack. And there’s another- wait, what the fuck-“

Medic would probably be like “Get that man I would like to Study Him.”

Idk if that would really count as Sniper joining the Red team, versus just him moving in with the dingo pack. And if the red team decided to forcefully separate Sniper, he would think they stole him and not like them. His original pack would still be dead, his current one would be the pups of his siblings or something.

He’d act completely feral in this case though and unable to relearn otherwise. He’d be long past the developmental stage, still intelligent but not gonna have any grasp on understanding being human besides natural biological instincts.

Art of @etcseacow 's dingo sniper. It might not be accurate to Canon, but I headcanon that Feral Sniper was pretty nervous about freking out his teammates with his rabid ways when he first joined RED. So he'd panic at doing anything "not normal" in front of someone (this was before he found out his teammates were equally weirdos 💀)
