when i take a shower i want the temperature to be boiling hot and i want the water pressure to feel like i'm being shot with a gun

out of the loop, can anyone explain to me why we were supposed to be demure and mindful? i'm neither of those things and they don't sound fun to me. i live under a rock. i missed the whole trend.

Charlotte is a good girl all day long, she mostly wants to sit beside me while I work and occasionally get petted. But the moment I turn the lights off for bedtime she turns into a wild monster and I have to put her out in the hall or else all of my worldly possessions will be thrown on the floor and batted around.

The only problem is now she associates bedtime with being put in the hall and she would much rather be in my room causing chaos, so she runs and hides under my bed where I can't reach her in hopes I'll let her stay so I have to launch a cat treat out of my bedroom and have her chase it and close the door quickly before she circles back. But if I do a cat treat too often she stops falling for it so I have to switch it out for a laser pointer or something else.

She really isn't interested in playing during the day so I can't wear her out so she sleeps at night, but she does have a giant running wheel that she loves to go on especially at 2am it is her favorite time to run. Sounds like a car driving around the house but it makes her happy.

I am reluctant to use a laser pointer as a toy bc I've read its not good for them, and I only bought it as a means to trick Charlotte into leaving at night so I can sleep, but she actually loves it and she's worked out that the laser pointer is the source of the dot so when she wants me to make her a dot she finds the pointer and starts batting it around, which I think is pretty smart for a cat.
