Brynlee pulling her weight when it comes to recruitment efforts xD
So after finishing crash landing, I gotta ask how did water seven/envies lobby, thriller bark and sabaody go down with vivi?
Oh man, I haven't thought about it that far xD
I'd say that Skypiea, Water 7 and Thriller Bark happened much the same, honestly. Vivi isn't exactly a disruptive factor like Brynlee, her sole presence wouldn't be enough to throw the arcs off-track. She'd help out in the various fights, and if I'd actually written it I'd probably have found a way to give her a Devil Fruit at some point, too - probably post-timeskip, though.
Sabaody goes down differently for the simple reason that Brynlee and Ace (plus Sabo) went ahead to stop them there. The way I pictured it, our lovely couple basically beat the ever-loving shit out of the entire crew (mostly Luffy and Zoro 'cause they're too stubborn to accept defeat) to show them exactly how weak they are. They needed to do everything in their power to show them that they weren't ready for the New World and, when the message finally got through, Sabo left with Robin and the others were all sent away on their respective training journeys - though this time, as a favor Brynlee called in from Kuma, since she helped him and Bonney out.
I'm not really sure where I'd have sent Vivi, to be honest. I've half-a-mind to keep her on Amazon Lily, to be honest, because I think she could learn a lot there. I guess we'll never know for certain, though xD
Could we see Brynlee's stats and titles? She has SO many I want to see all her accomplishments bc HOLY wow there's so many

The final chapter of Crash landing on you (or your deck, whatever works) is out!
Thank you to everyone who's supported this silly AU. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Lots of love, y'all~

what other au's are you considering for bryn other than the whitebeard au and canon? because the idea of a revolutionary brynlee has been stuck in my head for the past few days.
we know how much of a casual menace she is to world government and marines as a pirate. but i wonder how far and how big she will go when it's intentional.
i also just want to know what other aus u have in the works
Hi!
My current (and biggest) AU that I've been working on pretty much non-stop ever since I got started a few weeks ago is what I call my Sandbox AU. I can say that it's going to be a Bryn/Arber fic because people have been hounding me for one forever ah ah, but romance (once again, you know how I roll by now) won't be the sole nor main focus of this AU. Instead, Brynlee is going to be given the opportunity to do a LOT more changes to the original storyline than in Gacha Addict. Here are three future tags I can share!
Childhood sweethearts
Original pirate crew
Mother of all fix-it fics
I won't say more for now because 1) I'm only halfway through and 2) even once it's done, I probably won't be able to start publishing it until we've reached a certain part in Gacha Addict, because it contains some spoilers for the original story. Feel free to share your thoughts/theories, though - there's a reason I call it the "Sandbox AU" xD
I DO have plans for another much smaller Brynlee/Shanks AU, which WILL involve the RA at some point in the story, but I'm not touching that one until I'm through with the Sandbox AU.
For an AU with a proper Rev!Bryn (and potentially Bryn/Sabo because I've been asked a few times too), well, it does intrigue me, but I also don't want to do something I've already done in other AUs, which is starting to become a bit hard since she's pretty involved with the RA in all of them so far xD And I don't really have an idea plot-wise so for now, I'm keeping the idea on the backburner.
FINALLY, I do have a very special AU that's also in the works, but I really don't want to say anything about it because it's a very slow-going project and it won't see the light of the day for a good while, still, so I don't want to give any ideas or expectations just yet. All I CAN say is that it's something absolutely no one is expecting xD
Anyways, that's pretty much it for the Gacha Addict AUs for now. I'm considering having a separate book for non-cannon snippets and very short AUs that would just be a bunch of random Bryn adventures gathered in one place, which could be fun, but I'm trying to focus my efforts on one project at a time for now.
(Which is sort of a lie because I do have like, two other One Piece fics entirely unrelated to Gacha Addict that I'm also actively working on right now - a Law/OC and a different Gamer System fic)
But! One thing's for sure: no matter the AU, Bryn is and always will remain an absolute menace, no matter who she affiliates herself with xD
I fear ive been bewitched so ive come out of hiberatipn to post these practice sketches of two different protagonists from different One Piece fanfictions.
Featuring E. D. Domino from @aachria wonderful story (Surely Some Star Binds Me to You), which i would link but im on mobile. And Lucky D. Brynlee from @animenoakuma story (Gacha Addict in the One Piece World!)
Ed's chronic self-worth issues have bewitched me body and soul. Brynlee's anger issues are far too relatable. And their designs are fun. Featuring Ed with their hair back. Please ignore inconsistencies with Brynlee, I was attempting different angles and similar expressions, but I tried my best. Enjoy <3
Oh my gosh they both look stunning!!! I especially love Brynlee's side profile, she looks just a bit cocky which is incredibly fitting! And then the second sketch makes her look just a little kinder, which I think is also pretty fitting for her character as well! I absolutely love the details in the hair and the facial expressions. Those sketches are amazing <3<3<3
(Love the Ed sketches too, that fic & OC also have me in a bit of a chokehold honestly)
A love letter to D&D
I would like to take a moment to celebrate D&D (or RPG tabletop games in general, really). D&D isn't just a game, it's an adventure you get to go on with your friends to explore countless worlds and put your creativity, your spirit and even your mettle to the test. The stories you create forge bonds and help you to not only get to know your friends better - they also help you understand yourself a little better.
Each character you play has a part of your soul. Be they for a long-winded campaign or a simple one-shot, they're your brain-child who carries in them a little piece of your heart, and it grows the longer you get to play them and guide them throughout their journey.
More than anything, this game is love. You laugh, you cry, you look forward to each session or maybe even dread them, depending on how much you fucked up in the last one. You come up with little quirks, tragic backstories, cool magic flair, funny voices, incredible quotes that sound much too weird when taken out of context...
It wouldn't hurt so much if we didn't love it so much.
So, a love letter to our friends who we get to call our party. A love letter to our GMs who make it all possible and create the most incredible stories for us to unravel and probably really should write a book at some point because they're incredibly talented. And a love letter to the games themselves that bring us together and have given us the chance to go on endless, limitless adventures.
This is a love letter to our campaign, which has sadly ended after over two years of playing two to three times per month because of what is commonly referred to as a TPK (Total Party Kill). We made the wrong moves, somehow angered the Dice Gods and ultimately paid the price with an unexpected, brutal and very unsatisfying ending. It sucks, and it hurts, but it's also how the game is played and the happy endings we aim to reach wouldn't matter at all if the risks weren't real.
This is a love letter to Astoria, my wonderful Feral Barbarian child who'd only just begun to uncover the truth of her origins. I'll never get to play her again, but our time together has truly been one hell of an adventure. She's going to PC heaven now, and though I mourn her sudden loss, I know it's because I've truly given her all my heart, and that means I've played my best.
Finally, to everyone who loves D&D as much as I do, I bid you good luck in your adventures, and may the dice ever roll in your favor.

Hey is it ok to ask for writing tips? I wanna write a self insert fic with short but frequent chapters mainly focused on character interactions and slice of life like yours only for mha instead of one piece?
Hiii!
Yes, of course! I don't know how much help I can be but I'm always happy to try!!
The way I picture it, there are three "stages" to my type of writing: stage one is how the OC (or SI in your case) directly interacts with the people and world around them; stage two is how people and the world directly react to those interactions; stage three is how those interactions affect the characters and world beyond the OC's immediate reach.
So, in other words, what the OC says or does, how characters react to that, and the consequences further down the road. Those are pretty much the three elements I keep in mind when setting up scenes.
Other than that, I literally just have lists of little dialogues or scenes I know I want to happen, so I either work them into some chapters or outright build chapters around those "prompts", hence the slice of life style and the focus on character interactions. A lot of the time, I'll write out an entire dialogue first and then go add what the characters are actually doing, feeling or expressing during that dialogue.
Oh and also, knowing your characters, both original and cannon, is honestly what's going to help you the most for that kind of style. If you know your characters well, it becomes a lot easier to picture various sorts of interactions and how they'd react and interact with the original character you're introducing into the story.
Anyways I'm not too sure what else there is to it ah ah. Overall, the best advice I can give is "have fun with it". Don't let cannon dictate how your story goes. Think "what if?" and just run with it, and deal with the consequences and implications later. Sometimes it won't work and you'll have to scrap those wilder ideas, but other times they'll lead you down some really intriguing creative roads, too.
If you have any more specific questions, feel free to ask, still!! But that's pretty much the advice that comes to mind, or at least what works for me.
