And that Parker's cover identity is married to a very, very high-ranking agent. So he does the only thing he can, and tracks Ford down to demand some answers. Or at least, try to.

Figarland!Alex is so much fun, any version of Shanks with our girl is irresistible to me. I think it's because Shanks is the figure that people are always chasing (especially Luffy) that it makes it so much fun for him to be a step behind for a change. Having Alex as his little sister is so much fun too because there's all the complicated family dynamics and having her in his life means dealing with his crazy father and evil twin but she's worth it!

And you know Shanks' crew will love her to the end of the Grand Line and back!

This is a tricky question because my real answer is that I can ship anything if it's done well (like a well-written fic can make me ship the most insane things) My favorite blorbo for shipping is definitely Ace, I will hear out literally any Ace ship because there's so much wrong with him (Ace my beloved) and that ties in really well to whatever's wrong with so many other characters.

As far as ships I don't like, it's more that there are some ships I think are less interesting. I've seen some really well done Zoro/Sanji but generally I think it's kind of a boring ship so I wouldn't write it unless it fit really well into whatever plotline

I already loved Both Ace and Marco before reading it but now I am literally thinking about all of the whitebeard pirates constantly, like I haven't been this hyperfixed on something like this since I was into how to train your dragon.

Genuinely your fic has made me feel so many strong emotions through my first read through and my reread as I wait for the new chapters that I can not sit still while reading it because I am to excited.

Plus im working on my own long fic focused on the whitebeard pirates and a reader insert now as well cause it inspired me that much.

I've said it before but the greatest feeling as a writer is being able to make my audience feel real emotions and it means the world to me that you guys are enjoying the story enough to go back and read it multiple times, it really is amazing!

This is such an impossibly hard question because there's a million and one right answers. Everything cute and adorable and made for a toddler is on the table. Probably a lot of animal prints, clothes with bright colors and cutesy patterns, stuffed animals and toys and monogrammed things

Footie pajamas are a guarantee, they all had so much fun dressing her up little a little monkey or turtle or whatever else. Same with rain boots/rain coat/poncho.

And definitely a lot of stuffed animals that were bigger than she was, I mentioned Mr. Bear as a tea party guest (just a teddy bear that she put a bow on)

This would be such a fun au but you would get two dramatically different versions depending on if Uta exists or not. (And I love messy drama so I vote yes, my favorite version is Shanks finding his second treasure chest baby not even a full year after leaving Uta on Elegia and entering the New World) I'm just imagining Shanks staring at the baby inside the treasure chest and just hearing Kill Bill sirens and having flashbacks to Uta and how badly he fucked up as a father and just wants nothing to do with this baby.

Too bad for him, Alex figures out a way to get him to keep her and the Red Hair pirates have a new baby on board. They all try their best to protect her and help her grow and see her as her own person (even though she's so similar to Luffy and Uta in so many ways and it haunts them more the harder they try to pretend she isn't). And of course they all adore her, Shanks has really learned from his mistakes and tries his hardest to be a genuinely good dad because how funny is it to have a Responsible Shanks story?

Alex's goal in this story is still to stop Blackbeard and save Ace, but she's also got an estranged older sister to save too. Let's be real, she'll probably end up running off and giving Shanks one hell of a heart attack. I'm imagining the funniest scene where Shanks goes to Whitebeard to be like "please I am begging help me find my daughter" and Whitebeard gives him a stink-eye and goes "how do you possibly lose track of a little girl? are you an Emperor or not?" because in this timeline he does not know what a menace this child is. But he'll learn :) Maybe Marco gets dispatched to help Shanks look and foolishly he thinks this will be the easiest mission he's ever been sent on.

It will not be the easiest mission.

Because you're absolutely right, Shanks would give his treasured daughter all the training she could possibly want and keeps no secrets from her because he's learned his lesson from previous fuck-ups

There's so many directions this one could go in but I think the overall would be: Red Hair Pirate! Alex traveling with the Straw Hats (having straight up introduced herself to Luffy as Shanks' daughter), a fun adventure to go save/kidnap Uta (who has a huge grudge against the daughter Shanks actually raised/didn't abandon but grows to love her little sister eventually in a very Ace-Luffy dynamic), and Marco (and maybe Ace) going to help Shanks find his missing daughter

That's a great question! I'm actually not sure because I haven't finished writing everything but my best estimate is about 5 chapters and a short epilogue.

I have more plans for Alex's journey after this fic and I'm planning a full sequel (that will probably have to wait until we know what the one piece is irl) and a bunch of other side fics and filler stories/alternate versions in the meantime. But for Little Darling, probably those 6 chapters remaining.

In all seriousness, I love this question because Alex is a full character in her own right and what do we do to characters we love???? Make them suffer! But I do feel I've put her (and you guys) through quite enough for now, and also I did write this fic specifically to save the Whitebeards so killing them off would be mean to the one person I will be never be mean to (me).
