Hello. It's me again, and today is the 26th September.

It's a very special day for me.

Today marks the day I've been clean from self harming for exactly two years. The path I've been on so far was long and difficult and many times I sat down contemplating if continuing was worth it, if I would ever reach my goals, if I would ever be better.

Here's the thing:

It doesn't matter how long something takes you. It doesn't matter. The only important thing in life is that you never give up. You can take a step back. You can change the path you're going if you feel like the current one doesn't suit you. You can sit down and rest for a bit or just sit down bc you like the view at this place. That's okay. It means you're comfortable there. But you'll have to get moving again bc the sun never stops travelling. It'll get dark and cold where you sit or something dangerous might approach you. Then you have to get your stuff and get going.

Never give up. You'll always reach your goal even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment ❤

Also, don't be afraid to get yourself a travel-buddy. No one can take on the huge adventure called LIFE alone all the time. Some paths are meant to be travelled alone, some aren't. Don't be afraid to ask for help. You're not weak, nor are you selfish. You're no burden. Imagine your leg was broken. Would you be afraid to ask someone for help? No, you wouldn't. You would ask. Ask for help whenever you need it. Don't put others first when it causes you pain. Look after yourself first, then others. It won't do any good if there are two injured people afterwards.

Don't look at how others travel. They're of no interest to you. You focus on yourself. Cut out what is toxic. Walk your path, with or without others, with a lot of breaks or none, your pace. Your journey. Your journey is travelled by you only not others.
