I decided to make a post with some of the questions I get the most. Some have already been answered, but in this post it’ll be easier to find, right?

About their height: I have a small chart I use when making the sprites. They’re in the same order as the bad ending:

You also ask A LOT about the size of… their body parts haha As you know, they’re not human, so yes, those parts are bigger too, and each one has a different design. I PLAN to draw this, but only after the update is released. About the game:

When will the update be released? I really wanted to release it this month (since it’s my month /o/), but I can’t give a date yet. There’s about 20% left to finish coding (around 25 dialogue pages remaining).

Once I finish coding with the sprites, I’ll move on to music and sound effects. That’s when I’ll be able to estimate a date, and I’ll let you know when I get there.

About translations: The update will include: English, Portuguese, and Chinese.

Someone volunteered to translate into Russian, and another person into Spanish. I haven’t been able to properly talk with them about these translations yet (since I haven’t coded all the dialogue), so keep in mind those languages are a possibility, but please be patient.

How many days will the game have? Haha! That’s a tricky question. See, the second day of the update is huge, and it just goes deeper into the story while introducing the rest of the cast. So there will definitely be a “day 3,” though I’m not sure how far beyond that it will go.

Will the whole cast have a romance route? I have a lot of endings planned, and making the other characters romance options is a possibility. I really like the idea, but I can’t promise anything. Do I want to do it? Yes! Will it be possible? I’ll have to test it in the script after finishing day 2, so I just need a bit more time before I can be certain.

This week felt so long, haha. I’ve been testing every part of the game nonstop and adding the sound effects I already have. Now I’m hearing Pierrot’s bell everywhere. I listened to it so much it’s haunting me!!

Right now the testing phase is basically: checking every choice, because you know how one choice interferes with another. I need to be sure the right options lead to the right paths. Most of them are already fixed (except for one, still working on that one, I still don’t really know why it refuses to work).

I think I can say the update is coming out this month, unless something goes really wrong. But so far everything is moving forward nicely.

Some sprites still need to be finished or fixed, and the game’s menu still has a few issues I’m working on correcting. Wish me luck! I’m so excited I’m already at the final stage before release!

Hello everyone!

Just a quick update to let you know I’ve already started working on a small update that will allow you to choose your pronouns.

Originally, I had planned to release this along with a few small easter eggs that appear at the beginning of the game once Day 2 was complete. But I’ve realized that a lot of people want to feel closer to the characters, having them speak to you in the right way makes a difference.

So I’ll be releasing a small update soon with pronoun options, and after that, Day 2 will follow (maybe with a few extra details added to Day 1 as well).

As for official merch, I ask for just a little more patience, my dear monsters. I do have plans for something like that, but I’ll need a bit more time. And of course, none of this means I’ll put the game aside!

I made this illustration in collaboration with @春醴记工作室 Studio! I never imagined seeing so much love and so many beautiful artworks celebrating Pierrot’s birthday! I’m truly delighted!

By the way, some of you may have seen the earlier post where the symbol on Pierrot’s left arm had the wrong color. That was completely my fault, sorry about that hehe. I was so excited that I let that slip by!
