Bruh why do I have such a random-ass headcanon that the Cuylers have the absolute worst luck with skunks, and every single one of them has had at least one skunk-related incident in their lives XP

A few specific examples:

A young Early ignored all the warnings he'd heard about skunks and agitated the crap out of one with a stick. Surprise surprise, he got skunked!

Honestly Early's probably agitated so many skunks in his life that he's gone nose-blind to the horrible stench lmao

A very young Rusty thought a skunk was a fluffy cat, tried to play with it, and got sprayed right in the face!

One time, Randy brought a baby skunk into Tammi's trailer, thinking it was a kitten. ("Awww, that's cute—OH MY GOD RANDY PUT THAT THING BACK OUTSIDE THAT AIN'T A KITTEN!!!")

Goddammit EWiE is supposed to mostly be a relatively lighthearted post-finale fan-series, but then I just had to go and make the first two chronological fanfics I have planned out for it emotionally heavy shit 💀

To elaborate on this, the first is a Tammi character study that I plan to incorporate some of the darker, angstier headcanons I have about her (which I plan on elaborating more on in the future once they're more fleshed out) into, and the second one addresses the uncomfortable elephant in the room that is the fact that Rusty and Tammi were teen parents when they had Randy, while also deconstructing the shit out of Rusty's “Hilariously Abusive Childhood” (yes I read a lot of TVTropes, fucking sue me).
