This is AngelQueen13's blog or area to throw random sketches, works in progress, and random stuff around. So there will probably be some doodles and stuff mostly relating to my obsessions such as Hellraiser, Once Upon a Time, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Hannibal, and lots of other stuff.

Tanner x Luna shippers, this one’s for you! You (we) win again.
This is a screenshot of Adam’s latest instagram story and I was asked to share this. Let this be a little hallmark that we’ll freeze in time, as instagram stories are limited lol.
Completely unrelated but I will be re-uploading my Tanner morse code analysis video because I’m not happy with the quality and also I found out i was wrong. The code is not LVNA, it is indeed LUNA and he didn’t make a mistake but my eyes were playing tricks on me, several people too saw that exact thing. I put it in slow motion and yeah, we were wrong, It’s LUNA!

LOL. Omg you are thinking my thoughts exactly. Tanner's daughter would be just like him. Though perhaps instead of also being a forensic scientist she might go more into something like pharmaceutical science. Like her mom she is quite adept with computer work and has a scary ability of reading people insanely well.
Their son I think would definitely go into detective/PI work. He got his mom's analysis and deductive reasoning and his father's sleuthing abilities. He also would have some shady connections from his dad and sister which can be incredibly useful.

A little more about the BOOM! comics, if you don't mind. I think the only character these comics haven't ruined is Nicoletta (Female Cenobite). Yes, not all fans approve of her romance with Pinhead. But for me, the brutal way Pinhead betrayed Nicoletta was dramatic. She was incredibly loyal to him, and he wanted Kirsty to kill her. I also liked that she never tried to take revenge on Kirsty, but was always ready to help her. A wise advisor, brave warrior, a loyal servant of Leviathan. The comics haven't changed her, and I'm glad about that. The only thing that upsets me is that even in DARK WATCH, Nicoletta continued to pine for Pinhead. I just wanted to say, "Darling, you deserve better! He called you a conspiring whore for no reason! Forget him! Try finding someone else - Kirsty, Harry, the Milkman... Anyone would be better than evil Elliot." LOL.
What did you like about these comics?
I don't mind. :)
I do like Nikoletta a lot. I'm always a bit torn on if I like her and Pinhead having a relationship or not. I mainly prefer her as a close friend of his and I could see with the cenobites that easily being a friends with benefits sort of relationship. Overall though, I'm also not a big fan of him stabbing her in the back as I do think they both have high respect for each other. Honestly the only one of the gash I think have animosity between them is Pinhead and Butterball. But even that I see as more of a frenemies situation. So I do have an issue with Pinhead betraying his whole team, I also had that issue with the Scarlet Gospels too. Another story I will take the pieces I like and throw away the rest.
So the things I do like: (pictures and spoilers ahead)
- The beginning. I actually think the story right up until Kirsty and Pinhead switch, along with the beginning pieces of human Elliott, is relatively solid (with a few gripes of course). There is some really great dialogue and Pinhead feels more like himself. Plus we get banger lines like "He speaks of you often, Kirsty Cotton" and "Saw the beast who crushed the dove; met the devil, made him love."
And just like this whole section. God it's beautiful
I squee every time with this scene. Him handing the box to her and her taking it. I love it so much.
And of course this scene as well. I love this line of dialogue. It's so beautiful.
- The art. Piggy backing off the last point, the plot may go off the rails, but the art for this comic is amazing. While I may not agree with some of the design choices, like Tiffany's outfits. The characters overall look great. Once again though, I think Elliott is their weak spot. He is difficult to draw, I'll give them that, but it is hard for me to see Doug Bradley as this character, which is maybe a blessing in itself. But when he is Pinhead he looks amazing.
And God just look at Kirsty she is so beautiful
And omg this. This beautiful cover. The best thing ever.
- The Mind Prison. My god the amount of pinsty AUs that gave. War AU, Prison AU, Doctor AU, and of course my favorite...the marriage AU. So much fanon potential right there on a silver platter.
Pinhead and Kirsty kissed, they said "I love you", he called her "sweetheart". Plus Kirsty's cute little nightgown and shirtless Elliott. The amount of ship fuel they gave me is unreal. So thanks, Boom! comics for this!
- Cenobite Kirsty. While I do agree with others in they wish her design was a bit more unique from Pinhead's, I do like the symbolism. I love her in all white vs his all black, her blue eyes vs his black eyes, and that she has fabric for her weapon vs his chains. They emphasize them being two sides of the same coin and I adore that.
When Kirsty and Elliott work together they are rather badass. Wish we got more of it because it's awesome
- Pinhead playing the organ. I just think this is neat. Look at him! And the organ design is hella cool.
-Artist Kirsty. I like seeing more of Kirsty's interests. Plus her painting Pinhead... he's not far from her thoughts. I get it Kirsty. I get it.
- Elliott struggling with using a cellphone. God this amuses me so much. I need more of this guy from the 1910/1920s interacting with modern day shit.
- Tiffany getting to bond with Elliott. Her acknowledging his sacrifice from Hellbound is such a win for me. Yes, they threw out everything else with their portrayal of him later on, but Tiffany and Elliott's interaction when he first becomes human is great. I love that she is so quick to want to help him as a human in part because she remembers how he saved her in Hellbound. I love the fact she taught him to use the phone too, it's so cute. If they could have just kept up with that momentum that would have been great.
- The ending. Yes after that clusterfuck of a third act, I find the final ending to be so hilariously amusing. Pinhead and Kirsty making a deal with Leviathan leading to Pinhead just showing up and being like "I've returned" much to Harry's horror. I needed that kind of laugh.
I do also enjoy Kirsty and Pinhead's chat at the end too. I will also never not find it hilarious just the absolute reset this comic had to take. Plus this conversation is just so funny. After everything he's just escorting them back having a casual conversation.
Usually I hate reset/it was all a dream sequences because it feels like the whole story was a waste of time, but in this case it makes it so much easier to write off the shit and take the good parts.
TLDR The Boom! comics have some great material, you just got to wade through a lot of garbage. I'd really love to see this tackled again as cenobite Kirsty and human Elliott is such a cool concept. Just dear god, don't butcher the characters. Tune up the characters, trim the waste. In the meantime, I'll do my own trimming. Keeping what I like and throwing the rest in the garbage.
Hello! I saw you read the Hellraiser comics from Studio BOOM! I totally agree with you. What they did to Elliot Spencer is a crime against the fans. And I'm not even talking about all those stupid transformations that happened to Elliot all the time (Elliot being a cockroach is something I won't soon forget). I think making Elliot an absolute villain (a murderer, rapist, incestuous person with a God complex) created a huge logical hole. Evil Elliot would never have agreed to deals with Kirsty. Evil Elliot would never have sacrificed his life for Kirsty and Tiffany! Or for anyone else! I would understand if the comics denied that scene. But no. There was a scene where Elliot remembered his self-sacrifice. There was a scene in which the Female Cenobite talked about her death at the hands of Channard. I also don't understand how, after all his betrayals and at least two attempts to kill Leviathan, it simply "hired" him again, restoring his status as Pinhead. Damn, sometimes those comics really were completely pointless.
Oh man, Boom! Hellraiser, I have such a complicated relationship with you. There is so much garbage you have to wade through to get to the good ideas. But those good ideas make a great springboard for fanon. Their portrayal of Elliott is rather difficult to overlook as it is such a butchering of the character and is my #1 issue with the whole thing. I honestly have no idea how anyone who watched Hellbound and Hell on Earth walked away with THAT version. Like excuse me? did you confuse Frank for Elliott?
And oh God, that whole last part of The Dark Watch had me so confused. I was sitting there like what the hell is going on anymore? What is this? Which is why I maintain it was some weird universe Leviathan was playing around in that got so out of hand even he had to be like "Hold up...this isn't working out. Reset it." It's ok Leviathan, but maybe try getting a beta reader to help out next time.
But look, I can forgive weird bug Elliott as I can use it as fuel for a Strange Magic pinsty AU. Don't try me Boom! comics, I can and will twist anything into pinsty.
I totally get your frustration with the comics, it's why when people ask if I recommend it I really have to say no. Does it have some good stuff in there? Yes. Is it worth reading through? Absolutely not.
After finishing my Scrutinized Funko Pops I wanted to have a set for Welcome to the Game 2.
So glad I was able to finish it in time for Welcome to the Game 3. The Demo that was just released was so fun to play and I love that it is a full separate game to build on the main story. I highly recommend checking it out and Wishlisting on Steam! <3
I hadn't commented before, but a while ago I watched "The Silence of the Lambs" and yes, I also noticed their similarities with Hannibal and Clarice (which by the way, I love that scene from the archive and it reminds me a lot of Tanner and Luna) and since then I've been wondering if Adam was inspired by them >_<
