dex almost never slept deeply. most nights, he was alert at the slightest sound, waking up before you could even shift beneath the blankets. so when you walked into the bedroom and found him completely asleep, you stopped for a second just to admire it.

there was something unfair about how different he seemed like this. no sharp edges. no tension. just dex.

quietly, you climbed onto the mattress. the bed dipped beneath your weight as you settled against him. one hand wrapping around his waist as you rested your cheek between his shoulder blades.

his head turned slightly into the pillow with a hum. you bit back a laugh before pressing a kiss to his shoulder.

“good afternoon,” you mumbled against his skin, pressing multiple kisses. he only let out a sleepy exhale. you rested your chin against his back and traced absent patterns against his side.

a few moments later, dex’s hand emerged from beneath the pillow and blindly reached behind him. searching. you immediately slipped your hand into his on his waist. his fingers closed around yours without hesitation.

you buried your face against his shoulder to hide your smile and pressed another kiss there. this one seemed to wake him a little. he squeezed your hand.

“m’sleeping.” he mumbled against the pillow. you snorted. “yeah, i can tell,” you said. “but it’s 2pm already.” he groaned at your words. “still sleeping.” you laughed. “yeah, okay.”

then, he turned to look at you. and that was all he did for two good minutes. before actually saying something that you could actually hear.

“you look amazing.” you smiled as you took in his words. “you still have to get up.” and he turned over again. “no, thank you.” and he fell asleep again. but this time, you gave in and decided to rest your eyes too.

rafe has been teasing you for the past five minutes. fingers grazing your bare thighs, sliding his fingertips against your covered folds and kissing your hips.

you’re almost begging, but you don’t wanna seem that desperate. wiggling under him so he can at least get the hint. but you know he knows and that he’s doing on purpose.

“shh, baby,” he murmured, looking into you eyes. “i’ll give you what you want, don’t worry.” his fingers curled around the waistband of your panties, pulling them down slowly.

he licked his lips at the sight of your wetness, seeing your hole clenching around nothing. “so fuckin’ needy, aren’t you?” he teased.

he pressed his middle finger against your entrance, teasing you like always. “rafe!” you whined his name, hoping he gets the hint. oh, he gets it alright.

he sinks his finger into you, making you part your lips in a quiet moan. he leans more on top of you, his finger thrusting into you as your shallow breathing hits his face when he’s close enough, taking in every little expression you make.

“you want more?” you nod desperately, biting your bottom lip as you look into his eyes to see his smug smirk. “say it.”

“p-please, rafe,” you whimper. “please what?” he presses, curling his finger upwards inside of you, making you grab onto his bicep. “more, please-!” and he gives you more.

soon after, he’s got his middle and index finger shoved deep inside of you. your hips buck up immediately to meet his fingers, your grip on his arm gets stronger as your back arches. and at that, he knows he hit that sweet stop inside of you.

“right there?” you nodded, squirming under him. “don’t s-stop-!” your lips parted, breathing heavily. “wasn’t thinking about it.” he whispered.

god, you could come from his voice alone. and you might. his fingers moving faster, curling and dragging right against your sensitive walls. your nails digging into his bicep as you clenched around his digits.

“fuckkk, that’s it,” he groaned at the sight of you coming undone around his fingers. but he didn’t stop. “there y’go, baby..” you saw him smirk again before his lips pressed against yours.

you moaned into his mouth, his teeth sinking teasingly onto your bottom lip, making you clench again around his fingers that were still inside you.

he replaced his mouth with his fingers, placing them on your mouth. and you took them with no complaints. rafe could only feel your tongue swirling around and tasting yourself from his fingers, cleaning them.

“that’s dinner.” he said once he removed his fingers from your mouth and you only whined, mouth still open. and the bastard was smiling, again, like he did the whole time. was he already planning on making you starve and say your own release was your dinner? very probably.

when you told dean a few nights ago that you’ve never been on a date, he was surprised. you were gorgeous and no one ever thought about taking you on a date? crazy. plus, you said that you haven’t worn a dress since you were like… ten years old.

dean himself has never been to a real date. the one with the fancy restaurant, fancy food, the candles and the fancy clothing. his dates were in some bar near town. because dean only meets people in a bar at the time he’s in the bar.

so when dean decided he was going to take you out— really take you out— he didn’t half-ass it. he spent an embarrassing time choosing the restaurant, made sam drive with him to pick the right flowers and even styled his hair— not much tho.

now, he stood in the map room. you’d disappeared into your room an hour ago, claiming you needed time. and oh boy, was he nervous. he’s paced around the table more than twenty times. but every few minutes, his eyes flickered towards the hallway. his heart thudded harder each time.

and then— soft footsteps. barely audible. like you were trying not to be heard. dean’s head lifted immediately, and his whole body stilled, like some kind of instinct had taken over. you appeared at the doorframe, one hand resting on it like you weren’t sure if you should come in.

dean’s breath caught. you weren’t wearing your usual comfy pajamas. or a random oversized shirt you found in the bunker. you were wearing a dress. not usually your type of clothes but, you wanted to look nice. different, for how long you haven’t worn one.

the way the color and the silk made your eyes stand out even more, making you also look even more delicate than usual. and he’s a total statue, speechless, not being able to take his eyes off you.

“it’s stupid, isn’t it?” dean’s eyes widened. “what?” you twisted your fingers together. “the dress.” you shifted, touching the fabric. “i haven’t worn one in forever. i thought maybe it would look nice, but now i think it feels weird and maybe i should just go change-”

“bambi.” the nickname came out firmer than he intended. you stopped immediately. dean swallowed. “you look…” he started but then stopped.

because pretty wasn’t enough, beautiful wasn’t enough— hell, gorgeous wasn’t enough. you looked like every soft thing he’d ever wanted to protect wrapped into one person. it was you.

“you look absolutely stunning.” he managed. your lips twitched. a real fucking smile. “really?” you whispered, unsure. “yeah, really.”

“c’mon,” he said, offering his arm. and the ride to the restaurant was quiet. his hand on your thigh and you looking out the down while dean’s favorite songs played low in the radio of the impala.

the restaurant was nice. the tables had a candle flickering across the surface, casting warm light around the room. a vase of flowers sat in the center, and two plates already waiting.

if sam actually didn’t help pick the restaurant, you two would’ve eaten hamburgers. not that you would mind anyway. you were with dean. and you enjoyed the date. you talked a lot, laughed and also sat in silence. noticing.

“did you like your first date?” he smiled when he heard your chuckle. “yeah,” you nodded. “it felt really… real.” his gaze softened even more.

“even though dinner wasn’t exactly your five-star late snacks?” he tilted his head. you laughed. “it wasn’t the food i came for.” dean smiled so hard his cheeks hurt.
