tbhk is like evil writing and its not even because they bait you into thinking its a happy silly wholesome comedy anime about a girl who cleans toilets and then they drop That on you its also that the mood can change so fast. one second kou and mitsuba are having a great wholesome very homosexual time taking photos and in less than a minute mitsuba's been impaled and kou's head has been smashed into a wall. it lures you into a false sense of security and then whiplashes you with tsukasa usually. and it does this for the entire series and every time people think its not going to be as bad as last time and every time we're wrong and we cry ourselves to sleep every night

to me the thing about deification is that something fundamental is lost in the process

people can’t be immortal. so in order to be immortal you can’t be a person anymore. you have to be distilled. stripped of everything. till you come out the other side as an abstract concept.

hold on this might be a goat actually. when I first wrote the image description I felt so sure that it was impulse but now that I'm looking at it again it might be a goat

when i was in middle school nickelodeon on directv broke and it froze on the same frame for five hours. which would not have been so bad, except it was during the episode of spongebob where he goes to live with the jellyfish. specifically the scene where he’s naked and covered in sea urchins and flopping all over the place trying to get them off. and it froze on the frame where spongebob was facedown on the ground, naked. so he was laying there like that in complete silence for five hours. we would change the channel back every so often to see if he’d gotten up, but he was still like that when we went to bed. none of my friends had directv so when i asked them the next day they hadn’t seen it, but my brother and i were pretty convinced that spongebob was dead.
