For the first time in my life (or at least ever since I started studying abroad in Hong Kong), my bed at home feels foreign to me. I've been back home every couple of months, but for some reason now, I know it'll take some getting used to.

A clearer corner, and my storage items packed away. What I'm leaving behind isn't just the material though, because I have 9 months of these wonderful memories and experiences that went about in my school, my block, my room. For my flight tomorrow, I'll be carrying just a suitcase, a backpack, a satchel and all that I've gained from my first year at a United World College. It's quite an indescribable feeling.

Yesterday

A load of packing

Supposed to have out tutor progress meetings, but my tutor was very confused and we had it today instead

Second years finished their dreaded final exam; ESS! Not looking forward to that next year...

Reflections on Education Outside the Classroom (basically all our extracurriculars, like activities, trips and events). It was wonderful to get to know some less out-there-activities, see what we accomplished and listen to passionate people talk

Drinks at the Heads of House’s (Linda for us B4 turtles) and shared the love with our second years, roommates and a particularly melt-y black cat Sad because I had to leave early; dinner and preparing at 6 for us waitering for the Special Dinner at 7

A heartwarming dinner, because the teachers leaving the school gave speeches about their love for our community. Farewell to Chris, Li Ping, Jason and Selwyn <3

An interesting night by a set of stairs well worn by LPCers on Friday nights, followed by a cautious return

An empty canteen party, cause the night was full of emotion and people doing their own thing

A good night’s sleep, with memories made
