I’m so sorry that you’re going through all that. Do you have resources in your area to help with bills? Some places like churches will help.

   Thanks dear. I’ve actually considered that. I’m not really a religious person though, so I’d feel like I was gaming the system. My parents live nearby, and if we have to drop our apartment, we’ll have somewhere to go for the time being. The catch is they have three cats, and I have two, ( not to mention they’re retired ) and my dad’s condition is that two of them have to go. He tried to compromise with one of mine and one of theirs. Call me crazy, but I’m unwilling to put any of the five away from myself or my mother.    I found a podunk, crumbly trailer that’s really overgrown out on a peninsula. Shady neighborhood, but people nodded when we were looking at the place so that’s something. Lots of KEEP OUT, NO TRESPASSING, and BEWARE OF DOG signs, which hopefully means that everyone is just hella reclusive and not a bunch of troublemakers. It’s the only affordable one outside Tacoma, and home improvement used to be like, my thing, so fingers crossed.

*holds you* Im so sorry that's all happened. I know what it's like (least a few of the things you've mentioned) so im very sorry this has happened, and i wish i could help in some way, even if it's to provide comfort! happy to hear an update though from you, and what sallysparrowtimetravels said! some will help with that, or at least some things

-all the hugs-  Yeah, it is some serious bullshit, lemme tell you. Thanks, m’dear. Sorry that I tend to disappear for months at a time. This is like, a thing I do, and it’s super not okay to cope by hiding in a hole, but I never know how to get out of it. I always get super worried about new friends thinking I’m a jerk for dropping off the map, but I still can’t quite manage to not clam entirely. I’m am so sorry. ._.

She is. She is a 50 year old, unique creature, but as awful and petty as she is, she’s also on a lot of definitely-not-okay-at-work drugs all the time, which makes her an idiot. Or maybe that’s just her personality without them. I don’t know. For example, our production logs, after the first confrontation ( which was stern but professional on my part about her managerial approach when she screamed at co-worker in high school, unprovoked ) I went through them religiously, and took pictures because all of a sudden I wasn’t getting my workload done and wanted to record things because I couldn’t figure out if it was my problem or hers. All of my findings over a span of two weeks was included with my report on the situation. Four weeks later, she brought forth that same notebook with notes from her in it, attached to each night saying ‘you need to say WHY you aren’t getting done, i keep telling you to write WHY, what are you DOING during your shift this isn’t HARD’ >:E Check this, though. She wrote those notes on every page, with the same pen, including on several pages where: a.) everything was done and clearly checked off and b.) we started writing why we hadn’t finished things which we started immediately upon her much later request Luckily when I pointed this out, my mangers could confirm it because they already had evidence from my report that those were NOT there before. Meg: 1 Leslie: 0 Not enough to get her fired, but enough to put her under some hella fucking daily scrutiny where she had to do her job instead of spending her shift at Starbucks. She did not like that, hence the busted window. There was also a lady named Chris, who is very frightening in a different sort of way. Like Leslie could be, but functionally sadistic and conniving. She set a lot of traps, too. Ones I couldn’t work my way out of, because there’s only so much you can do if someone above you blatantly makes up stories and you have no evidence. Good thing upper management already trusted I was being honest ( I wasn’t the first person to say something, just the first to stay so long. ), but it’s Union so there wasn’t much they could do about it.
