It’s weird; moving after all these years. I’ve felt such highs and lows, put myself through such torment but seen so much growth. Environment has so much to do with who we are, how we are, who we become. I take small steps every once in awhile Toward moving on from the tormented girl I was, at 18 I moved 1000 miles twice, at 19, I had my scars covered, at 20 I’m moving from the home where I truly developed into the strong and sensitive woman I am today. There’s so many things I’d Tell that 14 year old little girl who moved into this house at such a crucial moment in time during incredible emotional pitfall. Sometimes I think I’d change nothing, sometimes everything. I think at the end of it all, everything that needed to happen did, I’m thankful for almost all of it but somehow I’m still convinced it really didn’t have to hurt so bad. I couldn’t imagine how all that pin could fit in such a tiny person, so small and delicate left to face demons only she could see. The help from others, while it was my battle, helped it become history. Picking me up off the floor where you found me crying, bleeding, tired, scared. Advice, hearing me, seeing me, feeling me. Letting me just be and exist in your presence could have made the biggest difference. A stranger or a parent or a friend. You helped. You made a difference. Thank you.
