MIMA Light is the ultimate achievement in modular construction, combining an outstanding lightness with an iconic and minimal image. This home seems to levitate above the ground due to the lining of the base with mirrors. Inspired by the minimalist sculpture of artists such as Donald Judd, John McCracken and Robert Morris, the new MIMA Light aims to be epitome of sophistication, synthesizing a surprising combination of sculptural depuration and interior comfort.

Kaira Looro are two words in Mandinga language, the main culture in Tanaf. The greetings of welcome or farewell, are not simple greetings of “good morning” or “good evening”, but they are real good wishes and prayers for the peace of others. Often people greet each other “Alma kaira siyaa laa”, or that “God will give you peace.” Kaira Looro, that in Mandingo language means “Architecture for Peace”, is not just architecture, but it also represents the link to a culture, a spirituality and research of interiority. The challenge is to celebrate this cult philosophy by designing a sustainable and culturally-driven architecture, for a place with a lack of materials and with low technology.

Treehouse is a new concept developed by Jular, a family-owned company, being in the wooden products market for 35 years and ten years in the market of wooden structures. Treehouse is based on sustainability and modularity. Houses grow according to the needs of families or individuals, in the same way as the new branches of a tree.
