Why would the school take away the scholarship program? It makes a good impact on the school and the community. 

Rose Valley would never do something that awful.... Would they?

They can’t take away the scholarship program. I don’t-… I don’t have parents to turn to for schooling. This was my one chance.

If they got a bad fortune, I'd make them my own little fortune that's all nice and cheerful. But I don't think bad fortunes exist.

I never really payed attention to them. Do they tell you what they mean? I’ll give them to you instead. They’ll just clutter our apartment, so there’s no use trying to keep them or give them to my mom to keep. And it’d be mean for them to do that to you.

Yeah, they usually tell you. Or at least they should unless you get a sketchy fortune. That's so nice of you, thank you, I owe you for this. They don't do it purposely, darling. It was an honest mistake.

You should buy a giant bag of fortune cookies and you could even carry it around and give fortune cookies to random people!

Every time it got cold, humans would just go into a deep sleep. But I'm pretty sure that's called hypothermia or something like that.

The little fortunes are the best, yeah. I don’t save mine, though. I usually give them to my mom. If they spit in your food I’d spit in theirs.
