This might be a stupid question, but I've seen the dream&nightmare sans stuff so much and I wanted to know if you have a good recommendation on where to start? All your stuff looks so cool and its really piqued my interest! Thanks!
Hello, well first thank you ! But I am not sure I understand the question ? Are you looking for fics ? And if yes then are you looking for fics about the twins or just the characters in general ? Like, fics focusing on either Dream or Nightmare or fics with the two interacting together ? And do you want fluff or angst ? I have written a few fluff fics with the twins interacting, but there are many other fics on AO3 that you can find if you prefer angst
I'm not sure how to help, sorry, and if I misunderstood the question or you just want fic recs then feel free to enlighten me :')

Nightmare centric:
it'SNOW use but to join them by Anjel_X, Bad Sans Poly, Nightmare and his gang are playing in the fresh snow, a nice slice of life with fluff
Stowaways by BasilMatch, kingdom AU in which Nightmare finds and takes care of his gang as children, dadmare AU if you will
Core The Apple by Devcipher, heavy angst, genuinely made me cry, but ! It has a good ending and a follow up story
Through the Wreckage by TheOwlsArchive, this one is a post apocalyptic AU, Nightmare is in his passive form and is a pre-teen, the world-building is very nice and he has a very sweet relationship with Cross !
Real Age by ancha-aus, this one is on Tumblr ! The link is to the masterpost of the series, it is a very sweet story with a kid Nightmare being cared for by his gang ( with Bad Sans Poly being the main ship, excluding Nightmare of course )
Dream centric:
Weeping Angel by J_a_y_J_a_y followed by Therapy Meetings by J_a_y_J_a_y, these two have Dream/Killer as main ship, and it is smut, but I like how Dream is portrayed as being more than just a delicate guardian of positivity
... it has come to my attention that I don't have much Dream centric fics saved
I mean I AM quite picky with what fic I read... so yeah, that + having a very precise portrayal of Dream means I don't have much fics about him lol ( and about the others in general.... look I have very specific tastes okay ? )
Anyway, this is all the fics I can recommend for now where it is either focused on Nightmare, Dream, or both at the same time ! Hope it is good for you :'D

Nightmare is missing an eye, Horror is missing an eye, Killer doesn't have eyelights and has goop in his sockets that can affect his vision, Dust's hood prevents him from seeing up and on the sides, and Error has a shitty eyesight and never wears his glasses
Cross is just their guide, Nightmare came up to him and asked "do you have any vision problem ?", Cross said no and before he knew it he was employed
Dude is just helping disabled people, he's a caregiver

once you recognise the ubiquitous and inevitable fandom life cycle it becomes much easier to free yourself from it and just keep enjoying things in a more healthy way while still thinking critically about them
I just posted my first mod on nexus mods and applied for the mod creator role on a mod community server and I am terrified

Small update, like two days after posting it i got a jp translation and I literally like 10 minutes ago got a cn one as well. I am still so hype about this mod you have NO IDEA. I also still need to do uhhhh a death animation for it to fully be complete but... [stares at the fact the worker anims without the paid programs are apparently a pain] maybe later in another update or smth
Extra edit : also I was in fact rejected, but not for the reasons I feared lol. Its cause my mod was technically in its troubleshooting phase. I have not gotten a single bug report yet though so I might reapply soon because it seems to be working
