doing this thing for a while recently where i’ve just been folklore/superstition farming about bugs.
that kind of stuff has to come from somewhere, so why not me.
i’ll just be up in comment sections and conversations dropping a lil’
‘well yeah having spiders in your house is super good luck!’
‘a wasps nest above the door is a sign of protection, they’re guardians and will ward off evil!’
‘grasshoppers in your front yard attracts fortune into your life! you should have tall grass to attract more grasshoppers and manifest success!’
‘did you know spiders give off calming auras and having one in every corner of your home is super good for you?’
i mean i’m really just saying whatever comes to mind. always try to frame it as if it’s not something i just think (because i do actually think these things obviously) but legitimate, well-established superstitious belief.
if i can’t get people to like bugs with facts and logic and science then i’ll just have to do it the old fashioned way.
anyways y’all aren’t allowed to tell anyone i’m doing this but also i’m recruiting y’all to the cause
