In Greece it's practically normal to walk on the side of the road, and also to jaywalk. Yes, I also mean walking in the middle of the road, but only in small/not busy towns. Though, it's safer and more usual to see people walking on the side of the road instead.

It is considered standard to thank the bus driver when exiting. You usually scream it so they can hear you if you go out the back doors, too. It is considered rude to say nothing, especially if it isnt a busy bus.

This might just be a maritimer thing.

It’s normal to call people sir, ma’am, miss, and mister, since it’s a sign of respect. Imagine my surprise that it’s considered rude to do so in the north 😭

Oh and in the United States people often sell and donate their blood plasma for money to get by.

name 3 things that might be surprising to know about you, because of the way your blog looks!

ive never been friends irl w a boy.

im horrendously bad at school, i even had to almost repeat another year.

im a very impulsive person and i easily get upset.

1. I'm not good at articulation. A lot of my friends on here have told me they thought I was really confident and well-spoken, but that's just in writing— I can't speak well 😭 and certainly not in front of crowds.

2. I was a Karasu hater once. Yeah, be surprised. I hated him when I first read the manga, it took me a second reread (because the first read is always just me thinking from the protagonist's pov without any other influence) to like him.

3. I have a really short fuse in real life. I'm working on changing it, but I lose patience really fast, especially with myself. So yep. Texting cools me down, helps me think.

anyway:

1. i’m short-tempered and can’t really stand it if someone doesn’t get directly to the point.

2. i lowkey disliked phainon in the beginning. now he’s one of my favourite characters.

3. i can’t never decide on a theme. i have so many theme ideas but I struggle to start making them.

My first two languages were Anishinaabemowin and French. I only started learning English when I was four.

The reason I do not like writing about periods, having children, or pregnancy is not only because of my general disinterest in the topic but also because I was born sterile and will never have a period.

I do not actively seek out romance and have been happily single for six years now! I write about it so much that I feel like that seems unlike me. Maybe one day I will have a Missus Brutus, just waiting on the right person.

1. I’m lowkey insecure about writing because it always turns out looking like a cringy wattpad fic 💔

2. I’m super empathetic that’s it’s actually really bad. Like I’ll start crying if I see a stray dog, even when it’s perfectly capable of living in the wild. Minor sad scenes in moves? I’m crying. Oh no, you got hurt? I’m crying because you must have been in a lot of pain. I remember my teacher had to call my mom and console me when we were watching The Boy in the Stripped Pajamas

3. When I crack my neck, it cracks LOUD. So loud it lowkey sounds like I genuinely snapped my neck. like to do that around other people just to mess with them lmfao
