so i went to a library book sale today and got a bunch of great books; one of them was a copy of the oresteia that I picked up solely because I saw someone had written a ton in it and I love to read the things people consider worthy of a comment (otherwise i own too many copies of it as is). they actually made a lot of entertaining observations that i should make a longer post for, but for now i needed to give this particular note it's own post

I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
