While I had fun at Louis’ shows it was because I was a fan of Louis, not the other way round if you understand what I mean.

I don’t know, it’s frustrating to be honest as a fan.

To be honest, people's attitude towards male musicians annoys me a little bit. People often say that "they don't have to do anything! female artists have to go over the top with the staging/outfits/choreography just to be noticed, but people praise male singers for the bare minimum!"

And while it is true that male artists' concerts are generally more "subdued", and I do obviously agree that there is a lot of misogyny literally *everywhere*, it's crazy to me that these fans, instead of lowering expectations for women, seem to just shit on men who don't put on such extravagant shows as Beyoncé, TS, Sabrina ect. THEY seem to be the ones that pay the most attention to all the extra stuff despite claiming that it's unfair to expect it from the female aritsts.

I remember people saying about Harry's BRITS performance that "if a woman danced like this, she would be crucifixied!" And well? She shouldn't be. And he shouldn't be either.

You're very right. Personally, I think all the spectacle feels like a dog and pony show, and I'd much rather have a really good singer/songwriter giving me emotion and banter and maybe some stories about the songs. I'm not looking for a Broadway extravaganza or the circus.
