As I sit here across the room from her with nothing but a beautiful silence between us, I am reminded that not many people are lucky enough to be loved by someone like her. And as the rain continues to pour down I wonder why it feels like her soul is so in sync with the raindrops falling on my rooftop. She looks into my eyes and it is in this moment that I begin to understand that the rain and her understand one another, for they both know the art of falling.
