I'm just going to have to stop going into the tags.

I promise it's possible to feel compassion for Spock AND be supportive of Christine. We literally don't have to pick sides. Neither one of those characters is perfect, and we wouldn't want them to be, anyway. There's nothing interesting or compelling about perfection.

You can feel for Spock and not bash Christine, and vice versa. You can be empathetic to their journeys and understanding of their mistakes without casting one or the other as a villain. Maybe you relate to one character more than another, and that's fine too. All our journeys are different and it would be weird if we all felt the same way about the same things.
