I made these bleach shirts for mcr Tampa! I wore one, my partner wore the other. The red one was obviously dyed after the bleaching was completed.

I’m gonna do a series of analysis on all the jujutsu kaisen character theme songs, but first I want to talk about Yuuji’s and Megumi’s theme songs and how they relates to their relationship.

Firstly, I want to talk about Megumi’s songs, but I want to get a few things out of the way before that.

I believe all the theme songs have the assigned character in the perspective of the singer. I haven’t translated all of them but this seems to be the case. Reminder, these are their theme songs, not what they listen to. They hold some weight to the character.

OKAY so Megumi’s song. I’m going to talk about the first song “Uchujin - Hakujitsumu”

There wasn’t any official English translation of this song and I know zero Japanese so I had to translate it the best I could.

Alright this song is obviously about losing someone and coping with it. you can interpret this as it being about Megumi’s sister or itadori. If it were about itadori, this is occurring post shibuya.

Megumi’s second theme song is “Weezer - Island in the Sun”

In summary, I believe this is Megumi singing about yuuji during the events of post-shibuya. Here’s an interpretation I found that I thought perfectly captured Yuuji’s and Megumi’s situation right now.

Something bad has happened to Yuuji and Megumi just wants to help him.

You can interpret this as romantic or platonic, though I see most people on the internet interpret it as romantic and see this song used commonly in romantic scenarios in media.

Okay now time for Yuuji’s theme song, “9mm Parabellum bullet - Heart ni Hi wo tsukete”

I’m only going to talk about this song because this is the only song that possibly had to do with Megumi. I’ll talk about his first theme song on a separate post.

I’ve always thought this was a weird song choice for yuuji considering the fact he wants to distance himself from everyone and it’s oddly romantic.

Maybe it’ll make more sense later in the story. I’m uncertain who it’s about, but personally I interpret as Megumi because that’s the person he’s closest to in the series. What do you guys think?

CHOICE 🥄 A Ritsu Kageyama Animation Meme

My newest print is finally finished!!

I had been thinking about how to make this piece for a while, so I'll add a bit about the process ↓↓

First off I try to start with a bunch of sketches to capture the different ways I can go about a piece. I went with the second one cause I really liked the idea of Hikaru being a big entity that looked at Yoshiki with an imposing aura.

I then cleaned my sketch and added extra details (such as symbolisms from the show) and very messily adjusted the composition. I then added the tonal values to get a grasp on where the light was going to come from!

This screenshot is so ass it might get pixelated JAJAJJA. Anyways, by this point I added the base colors with colorize (on Photoshop at least that's what it's called). I did two versions cause the first one just wasn't cutting it...

Finally we start rendering!! (On Medibang cause Photoshop stopped working properly for some reason (?, gotta fix that asap)

Since I wanted to do a realistic sort of render I knew I had to get my hands on a bunch of references!!, Not all of them were the way i wanted them to be, so I decided to make my own refs!

I then added a fucking png 😭😭of the composition I was using cause I figured some things might not be properly placed (and I was right lmao) I then proceeded to correct those, and continue rendering!!.
