   “Granted, it would be a bit weird if someone was to call me your older brother.” 

Stahl stopped himself from talking too much about Cordelia, not wishing to upset Severa any further. It did sting a little to see her react so coldly, however he also understood where his daughter’s reaction was coming from. Though he wished there was no scource for these kind of feelings at all, so they’d all get along nicely. Stahl was naive to hope that the distance and time that was brought between them soothed her heart. Probably - he realized - the opposite was the case, seeing how she was left yet again. 

“Six months?! I guess you really are trapped here.” That type of information wasn’t something Severa wasn’t hoping to hear but when does she ever get happy news? 

“We’ll talk about guns later, don’t worry about it.”

Oh she seemed peeved at him. He had not a single clue why she was suddenly so pissed with him, but in all honestly, he really didn’t care either. It meant that she wasn’t going to ease up on him out of fear. If anything, he should probably be worried that she was gonna be so pissed, he could be in danger. Should be. He had no intentions of doing so.

“Hah! Come at me then!”

Why can’t these idiots just do what Severa tells them to do. Their life and her life would be so much easier. Really, just why can’t they listen to her? Knowing that she was getting riled up but for what reason? Just past issues that she thought she got over. Guess she was still a little traumatized. But right now she needs to focused on Sho since he’s getting ready to charge at her. It’s been a long time since she actually been in a spar with an actual person or better yet, an actual fight. It really has been too long. 

I better not be getting rusted. 

Severa thought rather bitterly to herself but she pushed all of her thinking out of her head and allowed her mind to focus on fighting. He gave her a fair warning about his blades, something that Severa was going to keep herself aware of. Getting hurt was natural, it was a fight, but allowing herself be on the defensive is not her style. Bringing her own sword up, Severa gritted her teeth as she could feel the weight of his swords. As expected from a guy, his hits are going to be much more heavier when compared to her. 

However, he was naive to think that he could beat her that easily. She was no knight like her mother, but from the day she was born, fighting and training only came natural to her. There was absolutely no way she could lose. Her pride would never allow it. 

“That better not be the best you could do, Sho.” 

Adjusting her footing, Severa adjusted herself and pushes Sho off with her own weapon, giving them distance. This stick that the scientist gave to her really wasn’t going to cut it out in this fight. Severa knows that well and so does Sho, so there’s really only one thing to do. 

Steal one of Sho’s swords. It was really such a simple solution but a difficult task. She can’t be like Gaius. It wasn’t going to be like stealing candy from a baby.

At the very least, Severa could at least make sure that Morgan would be alright when they get started on this little project of theirs. To Severa, this seems like nothing but a small thing but to Morgan it was a challenge to surpass the mother that he loves oh so dearly. 

The smile on his faced seemed to be unbreakable, the inverse to her rather potent frown. Despite his grumpy partner, he was enjoying himself, and it would take quite a bit before she could manage to dampen his mood. In any case, pouting or not, she went along with it. He gave her a shrug at her question, thinking it to be somewhat stupid, but humoring her regardless.

“I dunno. People use a lot of different shit. Like I mostly use swords, but then I also throw knives, and I even have a gun too, but I don’t like that too much so I avoid it. You could easily switch between a sword and something else. You’re definitely fit enough for it.”

It wasn’t aimed to be a compliment rather than just stating a fact. His teeth were bared in a grin at the mention of swordplay. So they were gonna play on his terms too? Perfect! Unsheathing his duals blades with a bit of flourish, he flipped them in his grasp.

“Gun..?” She stopped herself from asking anymore questions further, she’ll find out the advance technology that people use later. It was unavoidable after all if she were to survive all of this. Though the fit comment threw her off a bit. Her face became slightly red as her eye twitched. There was a mixed of embarrassment and anger in her expression. Severa honestly didn’t know how to take that comment. 

Ah yes, anger. Severa was going to choose anger as her emotion of the day simply because Sho was using all of these idiotic words towards her. 

“That does it. I made my decision. I am going to beat your face up with this damn wooden sword if it’s the last thing I do.” Severa declared at the red head idiot as she waved the wooden sword at him. She doesn’t care if she gets hurt, it was a fight. Getting hurt was natural however Sevara’s focus was simply getting a good hit on Sho’s face. 

“ I.. You really think I can do this? Even surpass mother..? “ 

“Now, a castle isn’t going to be built by itself, we need to gather people that know how to build a castle as well as traps.” Or better yet. “Do you think if we make a request to those scientist bunch, they will build us a booby trap castle?” Their sense of humor was already bad enough as it was but it seem possible that they will be able to do something like this for Morgan if there was something in it for them. Like seeing their precious citizen scream because of this trap.
