In a world that often prefers battles be handled through physical strength, she is all too happy to lend her voice this time. It's thanks to her, too, that what would have been a series of fierce battles are made much easier thanks to her song. She finds her way to a stage every so often, but largely remains on the move. Not everyone was equipped to sing and those who could were sparse as it is.
"Sing with me a song of birthrights and love The light scatters to the sky above,"
She sings, continuing the verse of the song she had heard moments prior. Stunned at first, though quickly calmed upon seeing just who was singing it. Kingu had heard it enough to remember, so that didn't surprise her. What moves her is that he would use it in a situation such as this. The creatures shrink back even further with Azura's vocals added to the mix, powerful, resounding. She lets Kingu do most of the heavy lifting, preferring to act as support for the moment.
"Dawn breaks through the gloom, white as a bone Lost in thoughts all aloneâŚ"
Though Kingu's singing voice is not perfect, it's thanks to Azura's own capable singing ability that they mesh fairly well regardless. The creatures are momentarily quelled, giving either of them a quick moment of reprieve. "Are you hurt?" she asks, finally moving to close the distance. "Tell me I was not too late."
His presence detection is often a boon, and something he can rely on to help him locate other. At the moment, however? He keeps the range short, alert to the newfound hostilities that his attempt at singing has drawn. It's no surprise then, that he hears Azura before she comes into view. The relief he feels has less to do with the effect of her voice on the creatures and all to do with her presence alone. Though she's perfectly capable, worry had crawled into his mind.
With the songstress here, he's tempted to stop singing; let her handle what's her specialty while he keeps her safe. He doesn't, though. In spite of his inexperience, he can tell she's adjusting to him, letting their voices mingle. It's touching, in a way he's not experienced before, so he instead harmonizes with her, to the best of his ability.
His movements, too, synch with her voice, the motions fluid to the point of almost elegant and reminiscent of dancing. It takes just a couple more flourishes to clear the inmediate area.
"Nothing that's a cause for concern." Kingu's body can take a couple scuffs. He lifts a hand, momentarily moving her hair away from her face to caress her cheek. "Are you unharmed? I had a hard time locating you with everything's that happened."
A pause. "I've borrowed your song. i hope you won't mind."
