In light of She-Ra leaving Netflix, I decided to revisit my old draft of the final planned fic in the Severed AU. I regretted not being able to push through and finish, losing steam somewhere in the middle of 2022. I now have a full functional draft in edits! 90% of it is 4 years old, so it's definitely going to take some smoothing out. I'm hopeful to start publishing chapters in June, which was around the same time of year that I posted Severed and Fragments.

🟣What is Rujinu Historical AU Week?
Rujinu Historical AU Week is a 7-day event on Bluesky and Tumblr. This week-long event celebrates the Rujinu (also known as Jinumi) ship from KPop Demon Hunters using the theme of a Historical AU setting! Fans of sageuk and Korean history, stand up, because now is your time!
Want to explore Jinu's past from 400 years ago with Rumi in the picture? What about the events of the movie, but during the Joseon dynasty? Demons and hunters during the era of war and conflict, class differences, and palaces is a great way to explore Rujinu in a new way! It's not limited to just Joseon either—Three Kingdoms, Goryeo, and other more recent historical settings are welcome.

Rujinu Historical AU Week starts on Monday, November 17th and ends on Sunday, November 23rd.

🟣How do I participate?
The most common ways to participate are by creating art or writing a fic and posting it online. Some people may try and create something for every day, while others might want to only fill one or two prompts. We want to reassure you that it’s perfectly okay not to participate every day! We're just excited to share what you create each day.
🟣What kind of work is accepted?
Anything is accepted, no matter what fanwork you submit! You can write a fic, create fanart, sing a song, make a graphic, write a poem, or make a video (or anything else you can think of). You can also show your support by reblogging/reposting and liking other people’s contributions.
Please keep fanworks focused on the Rujinu ship and use the Historical AU theme. Rumi and Jinu should always be the main ship focus, even if there are other ships involved.
Original fanworks created for this event. In other words, fanworks must be new.
Original fanworks that you made yourself. No work created by generative AI is permitted. If it comes to the mods' attention that your work was made using AI, your work will be ignored and/or removed from the collection.
🟣Is this event SFW or NSFW?
Generally speaking, there are no explicit SFW or NSFW prompts involved. However, this event can be whatever you make it as long as you tag works appropriately.
🟣How should I tag my work?
The easiest way for us to find your work so we can reblog/repost it is to use #Rujinu Historical AU Week. You should also @rujinucafe. You are also welcome to use any other Rujinu or Kpop Demon Hunters tags so that more people can find your work.
If there are any warnings, tag them appropriately and thoroughly.

If you cannot complete your fanworks for the event in time, please do not fret. You can alert us by mentioning it in your post (ex. @rujinucafe) or messaging us, and your content will still be shared even if it is a week (or a month - or sometimes more!) late.
