Guys I need help. I’m teaching a Lyrical class for kids ages 9-12 this year and I want to incorporate activities where we watch and talk about the performance quality, emotions, body language and storytelling in lyrical routines. I am trying to find a couple that I can use with my class. Any suggestions on routines that really showcase these abilities well, i’m having some trouble coming up with some that aren’t too dark or emotional but that aren’t just all pretty technique. Hopefully this makes sense haha!

i can honestly say, i’ll be super happy seeing any of the mini girls win, sienna cami and ali all had amazing choreo and cami and ali had amazing music too so it’s like i’m pleased seeing anyone win

They were all so good! I don’t know how the judges are going to choose. I could see any one of them taking it!

I really love World Of Dance because I feel like all the little dancers competing are dancing routines that are very different from what they bring to competitions and I appreciate it so much! I love seeing them dancing to music with words, stories that are meaningful to them and just the pure passion. Much more age appropriate, entertaining and just more impactful to me than the elevator music contemporary honestly.
