My AMAZING Digital Playground!

You see, after episode 9, I was... disappointed. With all the controversy with Gooseworx, I was even more disappointed. This, in turn, made me have the sudden urge to CREATE!

So, hi! I'm Vision, I am a minor, and I use It/Its pronouns! I am completely anti-genAI and this series will not include the use of such things. (Main profile: @mr-palindrome )

In My Amazing Digital Playground, Abstraction is a much more voluntary experience. Like in TADC, abstraction is a buildup of stress and anxiety and mental issues. Everything piles up until you cannot take it anymore and there is only one way forward.

Unlike TADC, however, you have to give in to abstraction. You have to give up, maybe even want to abstract. To believe anything, even ceasing to exist, is better than this anguish.

Trying to still follow along with the main story beats of the original series, I think it makes things much more upsetting. In Jazz's (Jax) case, his abstraction will be giving up. There will be no "I don't want to go." There will be regret, pain, apologies that will never be able to be told, and the unshakeable feeling that he will never be able to make up for everything he has done.

And then, there will be nothing. No Jazz, none of the guilt. Just the memory. Pomme and the rest of the players will have to deal with the fact that Jazz couldn't take it and instead chose to abstract, and that's whatever they make of it.

Also, instead of "Isn't she lovely", the song I would use for the end of MADP would be "Please, Please, Please, Let me get what I want" by The Smiths.

Pomni / Pomme

Pomme is now sort of apple themed (her name meaning Apple in French). Not only did I do this because it was funny, but also for lore reasons! That forbidden fruit, you must not let yourself have, as it would damn you to do so.

I've changed her personality a bit to be more... Jester-y? She's still a pretty normal woman who's kind and respectful, though. Like in the main show, she will keep pushing Jazz (Jax) to talk to about his feelings.

Pomme and Kingsley have similar eyes because I feel like they are father/daughter coded...

I like how round and silly she is! Do not elongate her, she is tiny💔

Jax / Jazz

Jazz is short for... a different name. We don't talk about it. Jazz is also partially named after one of my favourite anime characters! Jazz M. Andro from Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun.... Waow...

Jazz is going to have more character development than Jax, in my opinion. Jax, in the show, didn't really change. Didn't become a better person or anything. They just got more stressed out and had more lore tossed onto them. I want things to happen!!

I gave him yellow suspenders/overalls because it fit better. Since everything will be brighter in My Amazing Digital Playground, the pink and purple clashed! I would know... Shivers...

Must have been the wind! Anyway, Jax will be a better and more redeemable character. Still a cornball, still an asshole, but also still a person.
