Emily casually extended her arm towards the blonde with an open palm.

“Hey, Ali, could you hold this for a second?”

‘ what is this       the notebook? ‘ 

alison dilaurentis wasn’t known for her charming demeanour or appreciation of small, romantic, gestures, but there was DEFINITELY something off. her tone was struggling to stay dismissive; eyes wandering briefly skyward before settling back on the other woman’s face. as opposed to laughing it off or pushing for an abrupt change in subject, she folded her arms protectively across her chest. 

Emily released a huff and furrowed her brows. She should’ve known that the blonde had an ulterior motive in dragging her upstairs.

“Ali—-”

She had to take a moment to gather her jumbled thoughts while standing at the foot of the bed, watching Alison rummage through their host’s mother’s belongings.

“I really don’t think you should be going through his parent’s stuff.”

The brunette eyed the spread out figure of her friend and felt her face flush with a pink hue. She was never one to skip up a bold demand offer to put her lips against the blonde’s, but if it would get her to stop messing with the random knick knacks in the room, then that was an added bonus.

She bit her lip and crawled onto the bed to join the other female, signifying a ‘yes’.

‘ and who are YOU supposed to be? the bedroom police? my MOM? ‘ alison tossed her hair back over her shoulder and sighed with the accompanying eye-roll. only the subtle shift as emily clambered up onto the foot of the bed proved cause enough to re-capture her attention. 

she was decently lucid; enough so that her lips curved up into a small, triumphant smile. emily had always been a little too eager to please her       too content to simply do as asked ( or told ) without questioning. it was something that she’d improved on with time, there was no doubting that, but alison hadn’t lost her touch. the other girl was still wrapped around her little finger. 

‘ better.  ‘

"No one's going to find out. "

"We can't do this - the boss will see! "
